I use a 34 inch 3440x1440p and its pretty much perfect for this game.

Also like I posted yesterday look up how to fix your field of view. Makes a massive difference. On mobile so I don't have the link it's saved in my discord but I ll repost when I'm on my pc later

is it any worth to hold onto the 9mm smgs if have a suppressor on it? dumped on a guy last night full auto cqb with ump but he beat me out with an ar...dunno if all the lvl2+ body armor will make 9mm useless.

The Lvl of armor doesn't describe protection, only the items durability.

Duo or squad really the way to go. Solo gets bit skewed for late game it becomes a game of being able to flank the guys who engage first. Get in a engagement basically means someones prob gonna flank :/.

I'm also playing this game on 3440x1440 with changed FOV. Looks and feels really good on this resolution. Sometimes characters get too small though (same reason why some cs:go players use 1024x768 resolution)

Game is a ton of fun though and I've really been digging duo.

For sound, try turning off 7.1 or virtual surround sound. Def can hear ppl running around me better. It does slightly change the highs of the gunsounds tho. Directionally still seems fine.

FOV tweak gave me a bit more fps as well.

Same guy who made h1z1 BR made this game... so far everyone says it's better.

Also sound is fuked in this game again. I was in a small cabin looking out a window only to get shot from behind, door wide open. Never heard footsteps or door open, raged.

My 'guaranteed top 10' strat is usually to jump out of the plane around the middle of the map, and slow glide to an area that's off the landing path. This basically guarantees me an abundance of gear. Then I try and hug the blue circle, this essentially guarantees noone will be behind me so I only have to focus on the 180 degrees in front of me. Then I just hide behind trees and pick phuckers off 1 by 1. My best finish is multiple 2nd placesChicken dinner still eludes me.

My buddy got me on this game over the weekend. Man this game is FUN!!! Add me on steam and we can get a squad going.. I also did the FOV mod set to 90 instead of the crappy 70 or whatever.

I average 90 fps. There was one city that brought me down to 50 though. Want to say it was Ponchini? Other than that everything is ultra on 2560x1440

Sometimes it is in your best interest to book it to the center of the circle if it is ending in a decent spot. I'd say I typically get screwed more frequently by hugging the outside of the circle.

Got a couple more squad wins yesterday.

I've come to the conclusion that you basically need to be very luck when the last two circles close. We sat and chilled in a spot behind some rocks and the circle just happened to close on us forcing the last team to run across a field basically straight at us. Easy kills for the win.

In our other win it was the opposite. We had to rush into another group who was already set up.... But they were facing that huge city that tanks your fps... And we were facing a field... I think they weren't able to hit us because they were probably getting 10 fps LOL... Ran right up and dropped them

Yeah if u can find a nice multistory blding right in the middle of the square its way easier to bunker down and last till the end vs constantly being on the edges and have to run/fight ur way through with only outdoor cover. My easiest kills is on people running to the circle infront of me and just stalking them lol.

Anyone have guesses how long before they optimize the game? Sucks watching streamers playing on ultra then when I play its like win 98 gfx lol. Only non very low setting I run is render distance. Something about how the game is mainly running thru the cpu and not on the gpu.

Thanks guys. Also when people say it isn't worth upgrading from a 4770k. They are dead wrong. I gained a lot going from that chip to this new 7700k. I also could not OC passed 4.2ghz on that chip. Now I am at 5ghz and could easily go higher.

Does armor actually make alot of difference? Or is it just a few %?

Yesterday I hit someone with 2 bursts of a m16. Thats 6 direct hits and he didnt die. He shot twice and I was dead. I think he got a headshot on me.
I usually always aim at the chest with machine guns. Just feeling it doesnt work. I usually die getting headshotted even tho I did the first 2-3 hits. Really frustrating.

Are you guys going for headshots only?

Changed the FOV settings and ive got the X34 Predator, **** is just too small. Changed it back to normal

Yeah I ended up doing the same. Impossible to see with anything less the 4x scope
