I'll never get married, but maybe if she is rich, then maybe. And of course good looking.

Got married last month. We've been together 9 years. She's my best friend and we just genuinely like to chill and hang out together. It's funny because we're different ends of the spectrum where I'm more quiet and conservative and she's more vocal and liberal in her beliefs. Opposites attract right? We both are just home bodies who love our animals and enjoy simple things in life like good food and just being around the house. None of that social media crap or partying lifestyle. We're both old souls. She also held me down through my collegiate career and still up to this day with all the surgeries and stuff.

What age then and now?
Married at 26 and now 33
Are you still married?
Yes
Are you happy?
Yes
Why did you marry?
Have known my wife since we were 4 years old. Girl next door type thing. Started dating senior year in high school after she was in a bad vehicle accident. I helped with her rehab. We truly know each other and respect each other. Sould mate. Plus have the same interests and hobbies.
Why do you think marrying was a good move?
Just was the natural move at the time. Couldn't see myself with anyone else and neither could she. Didn't rush into it. Waited until we were both done with college and had jobs. Lived with each other a few years to make sure that would work. And now with the birth of our son, it was the best move of our lives.

Tell her that, and you expect her to back off from any friendship that you don't approve of. other than that, GJDM.
