I agree with OP. Would rather rail ugly+skinny any day than fat, because there's no such thing as fat+pretty, only ugly and fat. They buy nice things to satisfy their need to consume (Tee Hee), then expect a miracle.

I certainly hope they never felt pressured but I wouldn't be able to tell for certain what went on in their minds. I've always considered myself a supportive loving wife, loving mom first and competitor second. I did all the normal mom things like every other mom.
I've always been very private when it comes to my training/competing lifestyle because it was never the main focus. I never wanted my household to change because of it and I had a firm grasp when it came to balancing everything.

Are you aware that there are people in this world that have a severe medical condition which causes them to be that way? My mother for instance is one of those people. She is a truck driver that has bad knees and a bad back from driving the truck but you probably do not care about that case either. Oh well I am not one of those people I am 6'4" 245lbs and I exercise every day. I would love to see you say something like to my mother in front of me.
