(I detest folks who buy watches that have no horological history or value. I have seen my supposed peers wearing Breitlings, Tag Heuers, Cartiers, Omegas, IWCs that are completely puerile. The average Breitling watch wearer for example, doesn't know how to employ the chronograph features or can't even tell you the model of watch they have (it irks me when someone supposedly on my status level can't tell the difference between a Superocean, Navitimer and a Chronomat).)
That being said, being called out and embarrassed as I did to you should serve as a lesson. You childishly attempted to impress what you thought would be unsophisticated bumpkins on the misc with your Daytona. Unbeknownst to you, there were connoisseurs lurking in this thread who instantly identified you and called you out as a poseur. This is an illustration of what I have been trying to convey this whole time: your Daytona will impress only hookers and "bros," but it will instantly discredit you among scions and other individuals whose opinions are worth caring about.
Just be thankful you were able to learn this lesson and weather this embarrassment on an internet forum, rather than in real life. From what I can tell, the worst that has happened to you is that you have been made to look like a buffoon on this message board (I have numerous people messaging me and "loling" about how I "rekt" you, but I don't take any pleasure in this), and this embarrassment has clearly agitated you. If this happened in real life, the results would be much more severe. (You may think I am exaggerating, but I have witnessed aspirational rubes ostracized to such an extreme that they have taken their own lives.)

I always lol when I see younger guys with expensive watches
like how insecure do you have to be to have to spend a few thousand dollars on an outdated piece of technology just because it makes it look like you are successful
