i think the hardest thing for me in that position would be worrying my family. i would keep it a secret because i couldn't bear to watch me sadden my family.
how are you feeling? srs. my mom died of cancer when i was 9-10 years old, throughout the entire time she was diagnosed with cancer she always smiled. she even died with a smile. my mom was strong and brave as fuk, i admire her so much.

Hope everything is going well for you OP.
My scans just came back clear.
My experience was head and neck cancer.
Surgery was first. I thought that was pretty bad taking part of my tongue then the neck dissection for the lumph nodes
That was nothing compared to the radiation and chemo that came after.
Radiation was okay the first two weeks then things got more painful. Everything hurt to eat and I can't taste anything.
Chemo sucks. No other way to put it. It's not that bad the day of chemo but for three days after you feel like sh!t.
Thankfully I only had chemo once a week to make the radiation more effective.

Stay strong OP.
I know a couple people who battled cancer and from their experience a positive state of mind is one of your best weapons.
Hope you win the battle.

Hey everyone. Just wanted to give an update.
Honestly didnt know so many people replied wondering how im doing.
Honestly made me tear up a little reading these comments.
Ive been on a clinical trial of keytruda/afm13 since 12/11/
Things seem to be going well. Started gainjng some weight/muscle back, blood tests have returned to normal and im nearly as strong as i was pre-cancer.
I have a scan in march 6. So i look forward to the results
