Looking at these pictures, I'm so happy I'm an introvert that cares not for lavish lifestyles.

I can't begin to imagine how jealous extroverted party-type people would be, their urge to live such a lifestyle will never be fulfilled and at the very least (but only if they were a girl) they would only be a cumrag - or toilet if the owner is of a certain demographic.

Me? I can sit here full well knowing I wouldn't even enjoy myself on such a thing.

I'd love nothing more then to own/live on a yacht. If I'd have been smart I'd have focused on a career where I captain one. Or even captain commercial boats. Those captains make absolulte bank. (1K per day or more when you are out to sea.)

Most are actually slow af to compared with a real airliner, limited range and get kicked around in turbulence so it isn't always a pleasant experience.

These yachts are basically just floating party places hence the term "gin palace".

Trump got rid of his yacht because it was too expensive to use. Just goes to show you how pricey they are.

I'd have to defer. Private jets have far more utility, I've used one, truly goat lifestyle. Yachts are just willy waving for when you literally have no idea what to spend your money on. Fairly sure they depreciate far quicker as well

Engineers have a good life on them. 80% of the time theyre in port and going ashore, or playing fifa in the control room whilst being anchored 1 mile from shore.

I've read about the owners of these things getting them extended to be longer, it really is a giant willy waving exercise.

as for these yachts they're insane but so useless, it's better to know someone that owns one or something like that to party on it every once in a while

Ye theyre 'always crewed'. The big ones, say 100m+ have officers, engineers and stewards/stewardess. Stewards/Stewardess typically get paid 2500-3000 euro a month to clean the place, manage the water sports equipment, act as 'waiters'/servants and act under officer instructions. Engineers and officers, from bottom end to top end, on the similar size yachts are paid 6000-15000 a month and work time on equals time off.

In the UK if you spend 183 days out side of the country you don't have to pay income tax, so engineers/officers who work on yachts, cruise ships and oil tankers, who work 3 months on, 3 months off rotations, don't pay income tax. Not bad.

I'd hazard a guess that someone who owns a yacht, owns property in Monaco, which has no income tax. Philip Green, high street tycoon paid himself a dividend for £1billion and paid no income tax on it because he's domiciled in Monaco.

You can't real just hide weapons, port state come onboard and inspect and its a lot more common than people assume. I've been onboard when we've been alongside and inspected in Japan and the US and theyre very thorough, its not worth the risk.

I get an automatic 3 cents off by using my Kroger card. And if I have enough points from buying groceries, I get 10 cents off with my card. I'm sure what they do is wait until they have enough points to fill up on their Kroger card. So its not that expensive when you really think about it.

Just think about the fuarking lifestyle of those people. They're on a level most of us can't even fuarking imagine under the hardest influence of the most exotic drugs.

What we think we'd be doing if we were rich, that's what these people think an average peasant probably lives like in some particularly chitty alternate universe.
