Sounds like a soft ass gym. I got my nose broken twice by one guy, we had a few pros at our gym.

yup it was a mma gym. theres a sick muay thai gym in town, im sure they spar a lot harder.


with 20% u cant really work on timing and counters

Start by going to a combat sport gym brah, no doubt about it. Avoiding things like taekwondo, kung-fu, karate, Krav Maga basically anything that's "designed to kill lulz"

no hate on him, but speaking as someone who frequently does bag work for cardio....you can learn that stuff in 2 weeks if that

couple of lessons will teach most people proper punching technique, using your hips etc, then you just repeatedly practice various combinations

its completley different to actually sparring though/actually having a fight
