He goes in that duffel bag but you don't see him pull out or hide a gun. That revolver was supposedly pretty damn but and you would have seen it.

The prosecution presented no proof that Stockley planted the gun, other than the "no DNA" logic, which is flimsy at best. DNA is commonly not found on objects like guns if there is no blood, sweat present on the gun.

Its not CSI, there isnt DNA on everything, guns rarely have recoverable fingerprints. This is another Mosby(Baltimore) style over reach for policital gain by a D.A. The case was innactive for 3 years for a reason.

If the BLM types would protest more for the Walter Scotts( south carolina guy shot in the back on video), or the Philando Castilles( Minnesota shot in car after telling officer he had a pistol) they would have so much more credibility. The fact is that police do act poorly, but not nearly as much as BLM wishes. They should focus there efforts on when good citizens get killed, not on Dopers, or Sex Offenders who were obviously **** heads.

Wife is from St. Louis so we visit quite often. I enjoy the chesterfield/wildwood area. Kirkwood is older but nice. St charles and O'fallon are also good choices.

Well, depends on your commute preferences. West county is nice like KC said. North county is hood, south county is (mostly) white-ish lower to middle class with tons of bosnians. Anywhere out west from st louis is a good choice.

City wise, there are some nice places such as the CWE and University City. Obviously anywhere closer to the city you will have to be aware of the crime. Tower Grove is up and coming as well. Soulard is more for 22-27 age range i'd say but worth checking out i suppose

I dont support the radical protesters, but the MISC's denial of even considering that this verdict is wrong is pure cope. Watch the video. IDC what he had in his car, how can we let police gun down whoever they want, and even talk about it beforehand? Its literally premeditated.

Worst off, Cops do this **** and We pay for it. Yes, our tax dollars continue to buy off the families of the people killed.

Doctors, nurses, surgeons, EMTS, etc ALL need personal insurance coverage. Why do police officers not need this?

We need some actual reform in PDs around the country. People whine about government getting out of control, this is example #1. When is the last time police departments were scaled DOWN??

honestly, almost any county area outside the city of St Louis is nice. CWE is technically the city but nice. A lot of gated communties but you have to venture outside to get groceries some time. Pm if you really want to talk

That's my biggest problem. If we want to use the video as evidence that he planted the gun I better actually see the gun. Not speculate. I want to see it or at minimal him tucking something in and removing something which I don't recall seeing either. It's beyond a reasonable doubt. Seeing the actual gun in his hands achieves that. And I'm sure that's the main reason he asked for a judge trial and no jury.
Its not CSI, there isnt DNA on everything, guns rarely have recoverable fingerprints. This is another Mosby(Baltimore) style over reach for policital gain by a D.A. The case was innactive for 3 years for a reason.
It's worse than that though. We have three levels of murder. Manslaughter, 2nd degree and 1st degree. Manslaughter is by accident that could have been prevented (what they should have gone for with treyvon martin and they might have actually gotten that) 2nd which is in the moment (if you take into account this guys whole "I'm a kill him" this would be plausible) or 1st where you plot and plan to commit a crime and it resulted in murder which unless this dude planned this whole thing months ago I don't see).
If the BLM types would protest more for the Walter Scotts( south carolina guy shot in the back on video), or the Philando Castilles( Minnesota shot in car after telling officer he had a pistol) they would have so much more credibility. Read the judges30 page reporton his ruling man. PLainly states why he was found not guilty.

LEOs do not make enough money to purchase malpractice insurance. They make chit money. Thats why most of them work 2 jobs plus a small side owned business.

I agree some things need to change, but why change the 0.00001% who LITERALLY put their necks on the line daily? Pussify and castrate the cops and make them like the cops in the UK while the ass holes her stay the same? FUK THAT. All the god damned time i hear how we need to teach kids not to bully (because apparently that is smarter than teaching kids to defend themselves) so why not teach society to stop being god damned retards? *And for the record, i understand that not everyone is a god damned ass hole, but incidents like these represent MAYBE 0.0004% of all LEO encounters

I have no problem with protests. It is our right to be able to protest anything we disagree with. What I have a problem with is the few bad apples that take it upon themselves to take advantage of the city and purge. Then the News channel films it and paints this narrative in peoples' minds because most ppl cant think for themselves, that this was the only activity taking place and completely gloss over the peaceful protest and the message it is trying to send.

The mass throng of people marching in and blocking traffic on a public road certainly does not qualify as "peaceful" protests in my book.

As long as they are not violent, it is peaceful.

I'm sure that makes the business owner's in the area feel a lot better about their stores being near protesters.

"Don't worry- not all of us are coming to break your windows and steal your goods just a few bad apples so don't get so upset when you hear that protests are going on"

If you are going to organize something then perhaps you should be prepared to manage the people you organize and not let it devolve into smashing things and all out looting hmmm? But nah that is too much work and responsibility for the certain groups that do such things.

I stopped reading and busted out laughing at the part where the incident began at a bust of a suspected drug deal at a Church's Chicken. That sounds like a gag straight out of GTA IV, lmao.
