As for traveling though

- Are you Hispanic, (if not you could pass as one) or Italian? Your dark features would make it easier for you to blend in better with the locals in most countries (not just latin countries)

- Resulting in safer and cheaper travel for you. I stick out like a sore thumb in most latin countries I've been to. No way could I stay in a cheap place and be safe

I'm 100% of european descent, mostly which is english/french. Zero latin or spanish in me srs. I just tan well.

It's all in your head. Mexico is (according to statistics) the second highest murder country in the world. Never once did I feel unsafe, and none of the pretty young blondes I met had any bad experiences either. But like anything, if you aren't socially aware and lack street sense, you could end up in a bad situation.

But you could def pass as Hispanic though (not just the tan but a bit of the facial features as well) which would be a strong reason why you felt safe in a place like Mexico city. I would prob not felt as safe as you did.


- What I'm trying to say is that you can blend in well in most countries, which is a good thing if you like traveling.
