If your parents were loaded i would say live your life, but they sound middle income and it would be very hard to support yourself if they pass away.

Op i have a cousin who rotted for over 15 years. srs
When he was in high school he was popular as fuc, dated the hottest girl and was a complete Chad. After 9/11 he decided to join the army and did a couple of tours before calling it quits and he then proceeded to rot.
He stopped speaking to his friends, and spent his days smoking, drinking, fapping and playing video games.
he blamed the war and said it fuced him up, but it was just an excuse to do fuc all.
Anyway one day his parents got up and he was missing from the house, he had gone for a job interview as a labourer and never told anyone.
later that day he comes back and tells his parents he has a job, and that he is better now, and can he borrow money for boots, new jeans etc.
They give him the money and he starts working all of the time as a labourer, and starts playing the guitar, working out and reading books. He pawned the PS4 and bought black t-shirts and oil for his beard that he had started to grow.
he still kept to himself, but there was a huge change in him... and he started to get alpha again... after seeing some guy get bullied on the street he went up and levelled the drunk guy and saves this young guy a beating... the kid follows him home and sees where he lives and his parents come around and thank him and chit for saving their son.
Anyway my father tells me all of this as i hadn't seen my cousin in a few years and my father keeps in touch with his mother, so i decided to phone him.
he invites me around to the house for a few beers and when i get there he is listening to the Rocky tune and doing pull ups, he is completely changed, he has lost fat and put on muscle, but the biggest change is his appearance, he has a black beard, is wearing black jeans and boots...
he asks me if i've seen The Punsisher tv series
me "yeah"
"So you've seen it?"
me "yeah a couple of episodes"
him "it changed my life"
He was rotting one day and put on netflix and watched the Punisher and felt his life was just like the Punisher's except for the family being murdered and revenge etc.
he watched the whole series in one sitting and basically decided to become the Punisher without the vigilante part, down to looking the same, reading, playing an instrument and getting a job.
he told me he had never considered doing a menial job like labouring but the moment he started imagining he could become like the Punisher then it was ok.
Its pretty nuts, but the fact is he changed his life and is now looking for a gf which i doubt he will have much trouble looking like a hipster in this day and age.
i'm not saying to become the Punisher, but maybe you can find some inspiration from somewhere to start a new life yourself.
CLIFFS:

I can't stand fukers who refuse to work because they can't find a job they studied their degree for. My father told me the other day about his mate who has a 40 year old son who has never done a days work in his life, do you want to end up like this? Lower your standards, stop being a lazy, good for nothing, useless kunt and do any job. Construction Labouring jobs are easy to get, get off your ass, earn a wage and stop being a fuking parasite.
