Would tell cousins to **** off obviously and I'd help the 3-4 friends that I have.

why do these *******s require you to publicly announce your name/information? doesn't that just put you at more risk?

It's to show the public that real people win and that it's not a scam or rigged or what have you.

Whereas you do pay tax on wins on horses or the casino. It's probably to do with Tattersall's being a charity, I suppose.

I'm pretty sure there's no way he could blow all that money in his life unless he intentionally did so or was robbed. He's getting $280M cash. He could blow $180M on houses, cars, friends, blow, chicks, and still have $100M left.

He's got more money than T Swift.

If I won a jackpot lottery, I'd give some money to my parents and siblings. That's it. Then change my name and move to a new city/state. Fukk everyone else.

Same.

I've never been a flashy person. The one thing I'd want most from winning the lottery is freedom. The freedom from bills and debt and being chained to and obligated to go some job for 40 +hours per week. Not having to worry about any of that chit is more important to me than fancy cars and houses and chit.

To be blunt, if you take care of your immediate family and friends and ignore the distant relatives then it would help significantly, especially since it be easier to avoid such folk when you aren't famous and on t.v. every day like Tyson and Antoine were.
Yep, stupid move. You buy some friend making $35k/year an R8, and they won't have the money to pay the maintenance/insurance/registration on the damn thing so you'd have to foot the bill for that too. Multiply that scenario by 5 or 10 and you're looking at a massive money pit. I've told myself that i'll never "give" anyone anything if I won. If I sincerely wanted to help someone i'd just pay off their debts (mortgages/car/student loans). The only people i'd "set up for life" are my parents.
