There is a double standard, and it is a natural one. A man has to work and improve himself in order to have sex. A women simply have to exist and sex will come to her, lol.

Oh absolutely we're responsible for it. We've got a world dominated by social media and declining values where a gal can post a half-naked photo of herself and have thousands of guys around the world DMing her. They supplied it, we rewarded them with attention and demanded more and more of it. There's a lot more to it than just social media, but it's a good example. Stop buying into and rewarding the behavior, and the behavior will be less and less prevalent.

That said, contrary to what the misc says, there are still lots of really great girls out there, just as there are many solid dudes too. You just have to look in the right places (hint hint, generally NOT the bar or club scene).

Exactly. But the truth is that we live in a hyper-sexualized world. Look around you, our kids are bombarded with sexual imagery. On billboards, in adverts on television, even in cartoons. It's inescapable.

Again, I'm realistic. It's damn near impossible to find ONE person who isn't sexually experienced by 18 - 20, the latest. Why? Because being a virgin is un-cool. People are made to believe that there's something wrong with them if they're not having regular sex. Even if it's with random people whose surname you don't even know.

Having said all that though - it's another level retarded if YOU are part of the problem, yet expect to get the cream of the crop, ie: not belonging to the problem you helped create.

My dad said, take ownership for your mistakes. Learn from them. Change them. And also, bring others along to a better place.
