On page two somebody posted a link to a video on Twitter.

The video showed white people and black people both dancing.

The only people manhandled were black. But it's also true that the white people only did their dance for a split second and the black students who were grabbed and shoved kept going and tried to continue even after the faculty member made a move.

So it's hard to compare apples to apples since, while the response was different, the behavior was also different.

I tend to assume that a person was not acting on racism, and after watching the video, I didn't see anything that would make me think differently in this case.

Wow the responses, the dances were like 20 sec long and it was 3 students. What is an extra min. on a long day anyway?

Oh and before you say it, no not everyone is a copycat dancer. People just want their social media/tv 15 min. of fame.

It's a very strange assumption that only three people did it when there's obviously rules (that are strictly enforced) against the dancing and they still broke the rules.

Well if you can assume, then I can too.

My assumption is that, if they didn't enforce things they way they did, they would have had another two-hundred people dancing and taking up much more than just one minute.

Surprise the guy grabbed them like that he had to know a ****storm was going to ensue. Apparently the students in the story said there is long history in black fraternities doing that at graduation so I'm assuming there is video of it being done in the past? I've never seen that before. Both parties seem stupid in this.

I went through the graduation ceremony for my bachelors, and said no not doing that again. I had my degree mailed to me when I earned my masters.
