You can throw in a 5th / 6th day of cardio/mobility if you feel like it.

There is no cookie-cutter advice here.

Your age, your genetics, your level of training, the intensity of the workouts, the style of workouts, any "supplements", etc... all this majorly factor into what you can get away with. 3/day is fine for some, others can do a lot more.
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Lifting more than 3x per weekwith intensity= instant joint death for me.

Wasn't a problem in my early 20's.

If you’re at the gym lifting more than 3 days a week you’re doing bullchit at the gym or doing one of those biceps everyday splitts which consist of 30 minute breaks between sets in your phone

Try benching, squatting, deadlifting, pullups, (actual exercises)
-Some people say good things come to those who wait, truth is, good things come to those who work..... who work later.....who work harder...... who are willing to go further than anyone else to get them. If you're waiting for good things to come to you, you'll be waiting for a pretty long time.

This is the main thing that people overlook. If it was just about muscle recovery, I think that most of us could lift every day with the proper diet. But joints and tendons need more time to rest and heal, especially when you are 30+

I stick to 4. Sometimes 5 and then do a bit of bodyweight stuff + conditioning. Feels bad when I don't exercise for a few days.

A key point is strength. How many people ITT have been lifting for 5+ years and still bench under 280 (i.e. work sets under 225). It's a different level of fatigue when you get stronger.

i think if you've been lifting a certain number of days for a while and you switch up to either increase or decrease the number of days you're going to see some kind of result because the body adapted to whatever were doing previously. IMO you can keep up the intensity higher if you go less frequent and up the volume if you go more frequent, so i think it's this change between intensity and volume that acts as a stimulant to the body.

so in reality, every routine - ppl, bro split, SS, full body - works if you're really pushing it and your diet/sleep are in line.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit softly.

IF you know how to eat, sleep, and train, being natty, you can work out 5-6 days a week 1-2 hours a day. I've been doing it for almost 18 years now. I take a full saturday to next sunday off, every 12 weeks too.

There are too many factors involved to just say that.

We are talking about natty lifting, so are we kinda ignoring the people that arent natty? Bike riding is kind of a miracle thing for the body, you are comparing night and day when it comes to joint health and protection.

Dorian Yates only trained 4x a week for 45 minutes. High-intensity workouts are where you make the most gains.

Lifting less just means more recovery time.

You could also try going to bed at a normal time instead of getting bottomed out until the wee hours of the morning every night. Results will probably be similar.

I like eod training. My best gains are training once every 3/4 days, but I find it psychologically hard to have that many rest days even if the results are there so eod is a nice compromise. I think lifting 6 or 7 days a week is stupid unless its all low intensity stuff.

5-6 days a week bro like split hitting most if not everything 2x per week is best. Best for lbm gains that is.
