Were those people even illegal? NY is a fuking melting pot and always has been. There are tons of people living there who speak other languages and came from other countries. Why should anyone tolerate a dude mouthing off at someone for not speaking English? Being a dick to people who are working isn't cool although the treatment is definitely over the top.

Nope. They were legal. The guy just walked up to two people speaking Spanish and went ballistic... there's multiple videos that people have captured of him doing the same thing to other people.

The guy is obviously one of the many crazy people living in this city.

Regardless, it's mind blowing that people ITT are defending this guy's actions... or think that you have to be a "liberal" to think he's a phucking idiot.

There was an asian professor that held an incredibly prestigious job i cant remember exactly but i want to say a director of something at Yale or Harvard. She had to resign after people found reviews she made saying a restaurant is frequented by white trash. I can try to locate the article if anyone really gives a chit. I remember reading about her in the news and thinking.. This is beyond crazy whats going on in this country. Literally these people have worked decades towards their careers to have them destroyed over their unpopular opinion. Im not defending the actions as much as saying this is way overkill.
