It's always been about mental health, society and upbringing but having something you can place all blame is a lot better. You have shootings with illegal guns and in states with strict laws, but the blind will continue to think banning guns will somehow remove innate human traits. Countries with such high circulation already cannot benefit with total bans like the UK, Australia etc where it's nearly impossible to get a gun LEGALLY. Serbia, the next highest country with 58 per 100 guns doesn't even break the top 150 in homicide rate. Meanwhile, El Salvador has the highest homicide rate in the world but 1/20th gun ownership rate of the USA. South Africa is in the top 10 world homicide nations and it has 1/10th the gun ownership rate of the USA.

Again, there is no demonstrable evidence that guns make people more murderous... mass shooting or not. Go read a book and learn something.

Actually mass shootings are counted as part of homicides. So are mass murders by vehicles, explosives, poison, fire, planes, trains, knives, blunt objects, etc.
