You need to lose some weight. Your face isn't bad (No homo) especially with the beard you look like every other Mexican (may not be Mexican) who can get sloots.

You just have to get committed to wanting to change your life, and start making better decisions.

This information is good, because it lets us know where we need to work on things. I mean, there are a lot of things that can be improved... But the good news for OP is that those things can all be worked on. Everybody can stand to improve.

1) He's gonna have to work on the whole sticking to the diet thing. Maybe it needs to be much more regimented in the beginning so as to prevent him from going off course... Maybe something with simple guidelines that is easy to implement.

-Inform parents you're no longer going to eat their food, and ask for a food allowance instead.
-Learn how to cook healthily
-Eat a properly cooked meal practically every day, limit fast food to once a month or never.
-Cut out all snacks that aren't protein rich or fibrous
-Drink only water and juice (no added sugar or flavourings)
-Buy a set of scales and weigh out pasta, rice etc when cooking every time

2) Maybe look at the reasons why he is not putting himself onto the job market?

-Fine-tune CV, maybe get help from someone
-Determine what skills you can potentially build upon to add versatility
-Apply anywhere just to practice interviews

3) Get him talking to people that are not his co-workers and miscers... Which means, figuring out how to get him into social situations outside of work without making him too uncomfortable.

-Make an account on meetup.com, find group with same interests

4) Work on figuring out what it is that's causing him to feel needy, and helping him shift metrics.

-Learn how to take women off the pedestal by reading [moderate] books on dating and being satisfied with having female friends and pay attention to their dating red flags.

That's my attempt at quantifying what you've written. Izzo lacks that capacity- hopefully he'll take something from it.
We got any updates from Izzo re: this?

If you're serious about making positive changes in your life, I'd recommend giving a read through some of what Tobias and I have written here.

OP,you're alive, and present; that is the perfect excuse to change your life.

Couple of small tweaks from me;

-would recommend using your own money to purchase food instead of asking for an allowance. It teaches you how to begin supporting yourself.
-drinking diet soda is a good way to begin weaning yourself off of sugary beverages in the beginning.

Honestly, I feel like reading about this stuff just makes your overthink. For me personally, I like to just go and do it, fail and learn from my mistakes. Its all about trial and error. You're not guaranteed to get the first girl you speak to but dont let it bother you the next time you try, or even the following time. If you do, you're going to find that its the womans fault instead of addressing whats wrong about you.

Shave your beard, dress better, smile more your face is way to serious. Also your skin looks tired, eat healthy, moisturize more. Oh n get a decent haircut.

Thing is some people have to work harder to maintain their body and skin. You're one of them n I know a few guys who put serious effort into their skincare routine and hair care routine.

So go ahead and put more effort.

Trial and error is, in fact, key. But sometimes people need a little kick in the ass to start, or a little bit of explaining to help the contents settle. I don't know if that makes sense, but considering that OP is in his 30's (?), things are a little... Well, it requires more effort in different aspects. There are going to be a lot of things that he's going to have to get in order--hell, a lot of priorities that will need to shift.

Once again, OP;
I am heavily recommending you start reading "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F***" by Mark Manson.

Not only is it a good read, but it's pretty much a good primer for how to begin taking steps toward improving yourself and your mindset.

WetBreast 2.0, hopefully misc actually succeeds in helping you. WB just flopped 2-3 times and ended up back where he originally was after all the donations and help.

He has a very low paying job and needs to save money while he is still living with his parents. Otherwise I'd advocate it too. Every little helps. I was paying my mum rent so I just had her take a slice off for my food purchasing.

Diet soda will have a tonne of nasty additives and chit. Especially in America. Plus its a subconscious thing "I had a diet drink so I can eat more". No, just take soda out completely until you can get away with it.

what are you mad about? I just told you exactly what impression you give off when you post begging female miscers to reply to you and what you need to do in order to get a gf. If I were you I would pm Deadhead and ask him for his routine and how he went from a fat 3/10 to a jacked 8-9/10; follow that to the letter. I want you to succeed but if you don't lose that weight, get jacked and change your wardrobe you're in no position to complain.

Stop taking this place seriously. If I were in your shoes I'd do three things:

1. Start lifting
2. Get diet in check
3. Nofap

The last one will improve you in many ways and perhaps make you an interesting person if you develop some fun hobbies

The fastest and easiest way to get you laid is to get you practice talking to people. Find more ways to get out and get social. Getting in shape and dressing better will help build confidence sure, but they are long and difficult and don't necessarily guarantee you get laid. There are FUGLY people out there having sex all the time. No matter how you look, there's plenty of people out there who will bang you. Ugly people get laid. People without confidence get laid. Just find a way to practice talking to people about stuff that interests you.

First step would be to get off the MISC. Get off the internet and get outside. Worry about maximizing your looks later.

He's tried nofap for over 5 years, and he ends up just going into depression everytime he fails. He needs to focus on more attainable things that don't make him depressed.

For what it's worth, he managed over 60 days once, which is more than a lot of guys can say. But it didn't do much for him in terms of being more outgoing.

NoFap is overrated, and I should know.

There's no point to doing nofap if you keep rotting at home. Usually it gives you energy/confidence to be more outgoing and do stuff that improves you as a person

I agree it does nothing if you rot at home. But you can develop the energy and confidence without taking an abstinence vow, which is my point. There are too many guys who act like nofap is this magic elixir for confidence but it's not true by any means. All it does, is put blame on masturbation for your problems. It's akin to saying you have a vitamin D deficiency because you work from from home. They're not directly connected.

I was helping and still am helping a homeless man. He has been homeless 15 years. I ordered several documents for him to get an ID card. Drove him to numerous offices. Have bought him food many times but I just do that because we are friends.

I took him to the office to sign up for food stamps. He is eligible for $160 a month. I told him he needs to bike the two miles to the homeless shelter to pick up his mail to finalize paperwork to start the food stamps. He wont do it. I told him id buy him a bus pass. He wont take the bus there. In fact the only thing he will do is if I pick him up in my car and enter their offices while he asks them for the mail then he will do it. Needless to say hes probably not going to get food stamps, apply for disability, get a job or any of the other things I had hoped for him. I bought him a phone previously and am going to add a couple months worth of minutes, write out the numbers he needs to call, places he needs to go. Then I wash my hands of it - its his choice.

Do you want to have the work ethic of the homeless man or do you want to change your life? I can tell you no one is going to pick you up, drive you to the gym, make you work out, put in job applications, drive you to interviews etc. Youre either going to change your life or youre not.

Diet soda will have a tonne of nasty additives and chit. Especially in America. Plus its a subconscious thing "I had a diet drink so I can eat more". No, just take soda out completely until you can get away with it.
Sure, diet soda has a bunch of additives. I disagree with cutting anything out of your diet completely in an immediate sense, because it will encourage periods of relapse. It's all about weaning off, and like anything else, change doesn't happen over night. Diet soda is an alternative to more calorie dense beverages for the short term, moving from that to water and/or other less dense beverages is the long term goal. It's all about restraint before restriction, as restraint is the knowledge that moderation is key.

I am certainly noticing that OP is responding more to the negativity than to anything else in this thread. This is concerning for a number of reasons, OP. If you want to make a change, you're going to have to stop giving a chit what other people think of you--it doesn't matter.

A lot of people want to chit on others for trying to better themselves. Right now, you don't have time to address those people, because they're not helping you and they're not going to change your situation. In fact, they're only going to add to a lot of the negativity already circulating in your head.

If it's not helping you, it's hurting you.

OP, there have been a lot of useful tools for success given to you over the last 5 pages, and I have not really seen you address many of them.

If you really have a desire to succeed, what are you going to do about some of the ideas expressed to you? What plans do you have to begin working toward bettering yourself as of today? What do you feel like you can incorporate in your life, and what do you feel you cannot? Why?

You wanna change, and see improvement, we got you. You just have to work with us.

I think your problem is that you don't really want to change. You want the benefits of eating healthier, practicing social skills, and getting a good job but don't want to put in the effort, aka the whole changing process. You have excuse after excuse of why you can't do something. If you actually wanted to change, you wouldn't post half-assed threads where you already know what the responses will be. This whole thread is probably just for you to whine for attention or get some magic answer. You want the easy way out but guess what? It doesn't exist. You'll have to take the long way and possibly wait years for results after you decide to change. But I'm guessing you won't, because that'd be too hard for your wittle heart. Shame on you for wasting these people's time on a probably lost cause.

Just a head's up, nobody is a lost cause. Some people just need to be shown things differently for them to click.

OP, you need to focus on finding a reason to live life again. And you can't make it females. They are unreliable. You can't invest your sense of worth in them because they will leave you when you need them most. In 2018, it is stupid to invest your happiness in a person. Actually, it was always stupid. But it's even more stupid now. You have to find your reason for existence and focus on that. Find something that makes life worth living.
