I have about $6k/month retirement for life and make over 100K/year (with the first 106K tax free) plus I'm paid living allowance of $45k/year to rent my place here. I'm looking to buy a used 700HP RS6 sport tuned by ABT with the Lambo Gallardo V10 this fall for 25K. Gotta have my mechanic check it and run it on the dyno, but I'm seriously considering it.
Pretty much this car:https://www.motorauthority.com/news/...abt-sportsline

I already own a home I'm renting out. It's about time and I'll be using it to drive all over Europe, so might as well enjoy it. I might consider the S6 or S8 with the same base engine (found one MTM tuned to 500hp). The S8 is nicer inside. We'll see.

One of the ugliest Audi series ever with by far the ugliest interior.

That 25k would not be well spent imo.

An S8 would be way better tho. Only the steering wheel on that looks goofy.

as a fellow Audi fan (we have 2)....why tho. Buy a used RS7. Stage 1 is cheap, same numbers, and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better looking inside and outside and more comfortable.

Costs over twice as much. No thanks. I looked at them, sure, but I would rather spend that money elsewhere. The S8 is definitely nicer inside. I'm flexible, but I'll probably only have the car for 3 years.

Me being me, a cheap ass who hates spending money on anything that isn't a necessity, I'd probably just get a Nissan Maxima or Honda Accord.

But if I wanted to splurge, my two top cars would be a 77 Celica or 69 Charger.

Less than 15% of your Aftertax Income.

100,000 GBP is 5,500 a month aka 825 for vehicles.

With this you can lease an entry level 911 or a monthly payment on a 50,000 vehicle aka new bmw/merc or used sports car (911/gtr/high spec audi)

Lease a super-nice car, or own a used nice car.

If your commute is one mile, your car is probably a weekend toy/ used for chores.

Go and lease something special that you can give back after a year if your situation changes

What about a Toyota Camry? It seems like one of the most popular domestically produced cars in USA.
