Well it takes actual skill to ride a motorcycle period, even if you're doing the most basic riding, that's why it's best to go to the MSF course to get a license rather than finding a friend with a bike to learn and just ride illegally. Motorcycles do take actual skill to ride vs a beginner hopping in a car and driving for the first time.

But once you actual know the basics to both, then it doesn't take any skill to do both fast in a straight line.

However like you said i would much rather hit those high speeds in a car any day vs a bike. I've seen way too many of my friends wipe out at high speeds, some did not make it (RIP), but some did with minor or major injuries.

If you crash in a car you're likely to make it because you're basically in a cage, hence why bikers call cars cagers. If you wipe out on a bike, you're more than likely to get really hurt or die.

I've had a couple of tank slappers before, the chit was phucking scary. You totally lose confidence in riding on that particular day and want to go home and reflect lol. Srs.

But then again i like cars more than bikes. I still like bikes, but cars are the chit.

Repped for being a vette and gsxr owner.

Looks like a coupe not a fastback but could be the lighting. Also no "Boss" came with a 2 barrel motor. 5th letter in the VIN will be an "R" if its a Boss.

Never been a fan of the newer Shelbys, the 07-09's are ugly, the 10-14's look great but have weak bottom end's compared to what kind of power they can make with a blower swap. I've never driven the new GT350's but they make a lot of power for an NA motor and I think they can survive on boost. I just wouldn't own one without boost, the torque of blower is like heroin.

I'm an 03-04 Cobra guy, I like the smaller car with a lot of horsepower potential. My current 03 runs a 2.65 TVS with 23psi of boost on e85, should be well over 700 to the tire.

Boss in 71 came with a 4V Cleveland and an 4bbl Autolite spread bore carb. It was also 11:1+ compression and the engines/valve trains didnt survive well on unleaded gas after 1975. That carb alone today is worth $3-4k to people putting together numbers matching cars. A complete non-running engine would sell today for north of $20k. If its a real Boss and you spent less than $50-60k on it you stole it.
It's a 351, not a 302. They only made like 1700-1800 of them if I remember correctly. I don't put anything but 90-93 octane zero ethanol in it. I'll check the VIN & confirm in any case.

People who ride crotch rockets are the scum of the road. You also have to be pretty ****ing stupid... your life could be over before you ever realized what happened. Some stupid sloot on her phone switching lanes... etc etc. I've never met a single intelligent person who rode sport bikes. Rarely will you see a guy on a GSX just abiding by the laws of the road and flowing with traffic. They always have to swerve in and out of lanes like ****ing idiots. Even professional drivers will tell you, there's absolutely no room for that on public roads. Take it to the track. Sometimes I'd wish one of them would eat **** right in front of me.

What's weird is that around me, the ones that are the most idiotic riders, are the ones NOT on crotch rockets. I've seen more douchey riding from harley guys.

SRT isn't a model, it's a type of trim.

They have SRT challengers and SRT chargers.

Chargers look sick. The challengers just looks like an uglier camaro.

Same here. Cars all day errr day.

Although lol @ calling a hellcat a sports car.

It's a muscle car, or maybe a pony car, not a sports car.

The vette is a sports car.

wait wut??

lol squids are no gear wearing Gixxer riders for the most part.

Bikes not faster than cars? For the price you are not going to find a STOCK car that will come close to beating a stock bike (sportbike) in the 1/4 mile mate.

You can get a 14R that will do mid 9's at 150 for around $12000 maybe lower in some areas of the US.

Bikes all day everyday

Yeah the only stock car I've seen that can even attempt to hang with fast bikes in the 1/4 and 1/2 mile is the mclaren 720S, and that is like 300k min lmao

I ride a gixxer and i wear full padding whenever i ride, even if it's 90+ degrees out. No squidding for me.

And not every rider will buy a 14R to "beat fast cars" lol.

Bikes have their own place and so does cars. I've beaten my fair share of bikes already so i'm happy.

The 14R is ugly as chit though lol.

Have you ridden in one? First off in order to have a fast tesla, you need the P100D with the ludicrous upgrade. The car itself is like 130K.

They are only fast until 110mph. They have chitty top end. The range if kept in ludicrous mode is only about 100-125 miles per charge. They still haven't updated the charging speed yet. So if you drain the entire energy system, it can still take a while to bring it to 100%.

And like i said, have you ridden in one? By far the noisiest ride ever. Of course it being a silent car makes it more apparent. The wind and tire noise is actually very annoying so on longer trips, you will become irritated. And build quality sucks. Panels and dash vibrate and rattle like there's no tomorrow. But again the car doesn't last long on one charge so it all depends on tolerance.

It's actually a very chitty car. Unless you like racing people from 0-100 ***** real quick and that's it, the car sucks. That's porsche money right there.

Yeah looks like a coupe from that angle. And whoever puts a decal on the windshield like that is either really trying to fraud or should have their nuts chopped off if its real.

No I haven't, was genuine question.

I didn't realizedthe base model S is in the mid 5s on 0-60.

Had no idea it was a crappy ride. All that I've read talks about luxury. Road noise definitely annoying. Assumed it was quiet because electric.

Honestly no sense in getting the base model, the price is totally not worth it. You have to go big or go home with tesla. The model 3 is a failure too. Don't believe the hype, because that's all it is, hype.

It is luxury in terms of the amenities. But the build quality is poor. Which is surprising because of what you pay for the cars. I heard they couldn't insulate (like sound deadening) because of all the 6000+ batteries in the car. Something about causing a fire lol.

So because of that, you get noise. A lot of it.
