Have about 35 plants now actually TBH LOL. Managing to keep them all alive somehow too. Been using to 2" finger test to see if the soil is still moist and watering based on that. Plants can take a place to the next level if you do it right.

Not sure why people are mad. Different strokes for different folks.

I'd rather buy a house in the countryside or nice suburban neighborhood, over a city condo, but that's just my personal preference. I could make more sophisticated arguments about how people are innately happier outside of cities, and it's better for kids, but I can't be ****ed right now.

Right now in North Austin I'm paying $1540 for 970 square feet. It will soon hike up to $1600. Seems reasonable for what you're getting.

Austin and it's housing market is artificially inflated.

BTW 'mirin style. Still working on mine but I'm incorporating modern (less Scandinavian) but more rustic/earthy elements to my living space.

EDIT: also off symmetry works over everything being super symmetrical.

Crazy! I'm thinking about slowly suggesting to my neighbor that we should room together. I don't mind dropping $$ on a place but these rent hikes are only going to get worse.

You know where to hit me up at bro.

This. I've had a giant loft in the middle of a big city, have a house in a nice hood, but if I was in AZ or TX, cowboy hat and boots.

Looks good OP.

If the walls are drywall, order A/V recess boxes from Amazon, get 2 and have an electrician route your cables. You need some kind of division between the TV and the artwork. Looks great though.

Let me ask the real question: What's your balcony status like and do you full time audio record in the unit? Asking for a friend.
