Dudes I will happily admit I maxed out at 40kg 1rm bench day 1 in the gym and the bar was shaking all over the place and nearly killed me

do NOT listen to what you hear on the misc, a 60kg bench from a "healthy" non lifter would be fairly impressive, 100kg unassisted for proper reps is pretty impressive even if you been lifting a while.

This seems accurate, been at my gym for 10+ years and only seen less than 10 people lift over 100kg the entire time I've been going

if 99.9% of healthy, natural, gym-going males put in the time and dedication to master the technique and follow a proven routine they will reach 225. If you haven't yet after several years of training then you need to change something.
Best RAW competition lifts
Bench - 375
Squat - 500
Deadlift - 610
Best shot put - 16.71 m (54'10")

That's because you work out at a pilates studio.

I think any healthy male can eventually 1rm 225 regardless of routine as long as they stay consistent and eat enough.

I think the genetics thing is more important for the 3plate plus crew.

I believe so, I hit 225 after 1 1/2 years of training.

But It's taken me 4 more years to hit 315... them feels.

My Bench is almost as strong as my squat, and I don't skip leg days, I squat 2x a week and it's just absolute garbage, I struggle on 335, yet can hit 315 on the bench pretty decently, and my deadlift has been stuck at 450 for 2 years.

I've plateaued terribly.
