100% this. You could spend years and years exploring North America, so much good stuff to see here. Not to say there isn't great scenery globally like the other guy seemed to think I was implying, that would be ignorant. But with the fact we have so much good stuff so close that you can literally see any given weekend, it would be a shame to not take advantage of it.

It’s primarily gym rats who take constant selfies and body pics I take issue with. Just screams narcissism and makes me respect them less, like instasloots.

Me and a buddy were talking about a gorgeous girl in our class who was friends with my (then) girlfriend. She broke up with her BF and was really sweet according to my ex, so I told my buddy to go for it. Then we found her insta and it was literally nothing but selfies and bikini pics. Like hundreds of them, getting like 500 likes per photo. We both decided she wasn’t worth pursuing then and there.

I'm 34 and my Instagram is private to close friends and family members. The pictures on my Instagram are pictures of my wife and I when we travel or special occasions. Like recently she became a U.S. citizen. Picture of us with the American flag..that is kind of a big deal so we took a picture. I have a great career too and have never taken a selfie in the gym. Come at me bro.

by the time i knew i had the itch for flying I was too old to qualify for a fighter slot. found out Im one hell of a natural. Gonna have to check in to it. i think they cut you off at 30 unless for heavies.

All branches of the military and the commercial industry are starving for pilots. Probably never a better time to be flying in terms of signing bonuses and career progression even starting out with low hours. If you're not already in a branch of the military though don't bother, you'll be happier in civil aviation. Pilots are leaving the military in record numbers to fly civ-side.
