I believe men are in more dangerous situations more often on average than females are. At their jobs (especially). In their hobbies. At clubs. Military. Theres simply dangers in life. Both sexes need to be aware of their surroundings. To her point though I do feel sometimes that my girlfriend could be putting herself in a dangerous situation like going to her car late at night (she works downtown area) so I gave her some pepper spray to carry around. No sense in worrying all the time about it like wearing runners constantly my god.
