Psychology is 90% (maybe more) undiscovered yet and I believe the education universities provide on this is very poor worldwide. I wouldnt really trust a psychologist

ADHD is what you get when you put outdoorsy children into a classroom and expect them to sit there and listen to mostly useless stuff 8 hours a day. I never took ADHD as an illnesscan't say I've ever met anyone who's claimed to have an aspergers syndrome diagnosis so it mustn't be that common. ADHD on the other hand.. met a few of those.

Look, i know i don't really know you and all, and i know you probably hear this like everyday, but your just so perfect to me. The few hours we talked were really great even if the convo was stale, your really pretty and chill, and your country thats just perfect :'D i really dont know how to explain it, but i think i have feelings for you somehow. i never felt like this with someone i just met, but i felt the need to get it off my chest. sorry for being all weird just idk how to explain it D:

Has the diagnosis been broadened? Yes. That doesn't mean it was wrong to do so.
Most recent numbers for autism diagnosis among children in the US were 1 in 59(CDC in 2014) to 1 in 40 (US parent survey of 43,000 parents in 2016).
There is a possibility that what we label autism could actually be more than one condition. Or, the other way round, maybe ADD should be lumped in to what is called the "spectrum" of neurodiversity.
I don't believe it really should be considered a psychological diagnosis, but that is where it sits for now.
There has been a blood test developed, a saliva test developed, and genetic screening is in progress.
About the blood test:

But I don't know how (or why) anyone could fake metabolites in their blood.

For each member of the group, Hahn obtained data on 24 metabolites related to the two cellular pathways -- the methionine cycle and the transsulfuration pathway. Deliberately omitting data from one individual in the group, Hahn subjected the remaining dataset to advanced analysis techniques and used results to generate a predictive algorithm. The algorithm then made a prediction about the data from the omitted individual. Hahn cross-validated the results, swapping a different individual out of the group and repeating the process for all 149 participants. His method correctly identified 96.1 percent of all typically developing participants and 97.6 percent of the ASD cohort.
