At first I thought SkunkWorks was some kind of medicinal marijuana place and then I Google'd it to find that it's a Lockheed Martin project......
Wth is with them putting him in a dark room with lasers circling his eyes? Sounds like some Area 51 chit. I would agree with you that I think something fishy is up with that...

No parent wants to outlive their kids. So sorry Steep. Hate to grasp at straws as to why he did what he did but just knowing he worked for skunkworks, the conspiracy theorist in me wants to say something is downright fishy. Regardless, just wanna say I'm thinking of you and your family

I am so sorry for your loss man. As a parent, this is my worst fear. People say this, but I think we all mean it here: we are here for you brother.
Last week the guidance councilor at my teenage daughters school called and told me another student heard her say she doesn't want to live anymore. It turned out to be a mix-up, but it felt like that took years off my life (obviously we are still keeping an eye on her and taking to ensure she is ok).
Talk to your kids and hug them often, no matter how old they are.

Massive condolences. I can't even imagine.
Unfortunately, I don't believe you will get answers from his work. This will be frustrating.
Edit-He had to be a contractor since SW is owned by Lockheed Martin. Unless I am missing something.

My condolences, @op.
My cousin committed suicide a few years ago. He did it while driving down the freeway with his girlfriend in the car. I'm still unsure of what happened since only his girlfriend at the time truly knows. I find it strange that he'd just off himself while driving on the freeway. Maybe it was an accident? He was kinda troubled, he dealt drugs, he was really the lovable family fuk up.
Regardless, it was tough going to his apartment the following day with his brother and father. We had to clean out his place.
The toughest part was that he texted me a few days before that asking me if I wanted to meet him at the bar. I'm not much of a drinker and I was just in one of those "I don't want to talk to anyone today" moods and I ignored the text. Maybe he wanted to talk about how he was feeling? or maybe he just wanted to have a beer with me? Maybe if I would've gone we could've talked and maybe he wouldn't have done what he did... if he actually meant to do it in the first place?
So to all my misc bros out there, respond to that text and have that beer.
