Most all domestic dispute cops deal with is alcohol related not drug related.
Drunk driving kills thousands every year.
Prohibition doesn't work so they ended.
Yet with drugs it stays the same.alcohol is the worst drug on the world
More so than heroin even. No one shoots dope and bests the **** out of their wife or kid like they do on whiskey.
Neither is good but Prohibition just makes the problem worse.
People always say it's about health and safety and crime prevention yet Prohibition makes all three worse.
This is fact yet no one cares andngoes with the status quo cause the ones who keep it in place get rich from it while the ones who enforce it die from and tje ones addicted go in a cage from it.
But Mr.senstor gets his millions so who gives a phuck right?
Sickening truly sickening

Honestly there is no reason not to have a middle ground with public alcohol. Not necessarily to totally ban alchohol, but rather ban commercial establishments in cities from serving it. Casually at restaurants, at bars and night clubs. Think about it? do we really need that aspect in our lives? like really? The same way smoking is legal technically, but you cant do it in public places, and theres no marijuana night clubs nor do they serve it at the Olive Garden.
But for some reason the insanity of alcohol persists...
In the past people would stigmatize drugs based on intake methods, right? the more intense it was like smoking vs a needle thats how bad it is. But drinking, well drinking isn't anything more than drinking a liquid. Its as base human act, a thing basal as drinking water. (though its un-proportionally high on the physical and mental health danger charts)
so to people there's a line crossed when you tell them what liquid they can drink as a basic human right. theres something sacred about drinking in human society.
But it doesnt need to be that way. Its easy for me to say maybe since I rarely drink from a lifter perspective to me its pointless.
We dont need to go full prohibition mode, but it would be feasible and a good idea to ban it in casual public use. that way it doesnt damage society as much or publicly encourage degeneracy, but is also legally available to people by certain more inconvenient means so that underground crime cant get involved.

I'm glad she survived so she can be haunted by the guilt of killing that family every single day for the rest of her life. I hope it eats her alive.

Friedman analyzed all 190,612 patients treated at Illinois' trauma centers between 1995 and 2009 who were tested for blood-alcohol content, with levels ranging from zero to 0.5 percent at time of admission. (Blood-alcohol levels above about 0.35 percent can be fatal.) He found that with the exception of burn injuries, the mortality rates of all types of traumatic injury decreased as the blood-alcohol content of victims rose. [7 Ways Alcohol Affects Your Health]
At the upper bounds of intoxication, mortality rates were cut by nearly 50 percent, said Friedman. The effect, however, was not equally strong for all types of trauma, with victims of penetrating injuries, such as gunshot and stab wounds, seeming to show the greatest benefit from alcohol.
Friedman broke his data into subgroups, classified by severity and type of injury, before drawing any conclusions, to account for the possibility that drinkers suffer a disproportionate amount of relatively minor traumatic injuries.
There is a folk belief that drunken injuries, especially those incurred during car crashes, are likely to be less severe, due perhaps to increased relaxation or limpness at the time of an accident. But Friedman says his research has convinced him that this belief is "probably grossly overestimated and false."
His findings don't show that a drunk driver's injuries during a car crash are likely to be less serious than those suffered by potential sober victims, just that if all parties suffer the same injuries, the sober ones are more likely to die.
"You don't die from the injury itself, you die from the subsequent physiological response, things like inflammation and rapid fluid loss," Friedman told Life's Little Mysteries. "If you get shot by a gun, it's not the hole that kills you."
And it's when a person's body goes into emergency preservation mode — tripping a cascade of physiological panic buttons that can ironically end in death — that alcohol seems to help most.

If you see a grill drinking,

Make sure you ask the grill if it has designated transportation so it doesnt try to drive itself drunk.

I believe new cars should come equipped with biometric technology that detects the level of drunkenness of the driver. Or at least some way of recognizing erratic driving and forcing the car to automatically turn on the flashers, in order to warn other drivers. Possibly, even stop the car.
I have seen over 5000 videos of car accidents involving drunk drivers and my heart aches for the innocent drivers and pedestrians who get caught in their way. Many lose their lives but, worse IMO, it's those who lose their limbs or become paraplegic etc, just because some people are too selfish and irresponsible to care about anything other than themselves.

She looks like she got married and divorced before 21. Can't explain why, but maybe its because shes 21 going on 35 by appearances.
