We've all been there OP. Worst feeling in the world. You should at least have some peace knowing that it is over instead of that nagging feeling wondering if it is or not. Find something that'll keep your mind occupied. Video games/building computers/Trail running. etc.

what helped for me was to remind myself to be strong, no person will care for and love a weak man. why would you care for a person that doesn't give a **** about you. leave the feels & emotion for the ladies, start thinking and stop feeling, acquire $ and aesthetics. we are supposed to win in life, stop feeling down and start to rebuild yourself. mindset in my case was the most important..
