I got stuck trying to get OUT of Galveston one year, because the line of people trying to get in from Beachfront all the way up onto 45 had all the intersections blocked. Cops kept coming by but wouldn't lift a finger to open the intersections. Took me a couple of hours to get down Stewart to 61st.

I try to stay away from these kinds of events. Nothing but wasted kids looking to make idiots of themselves.

They have this back where I am from in Michigan. At the Higgins Lake state park and Bud Bash at Houghton Lake.

I outgrew those things long ago. You realize how juvenile it all is when you step back and really see what these people are doing.

I much prefer hanging out with your sig other and a few friends in places like Hawaii, a nice Las Vegas pool, even a Cancun resort.

But to each his own.
