People you went to school with lick ass when they see you around, chicks are shallow af but can you blame them for wanting someone with muscles. Also noticed a few chicks getting insecure and self conscious about their bodies when around and they've mentioned it to me so it's not all positive.

If anything lifting has improved my confidence and that has a chain effect on everything else in life really.

As for the chicks part it's 100% true, mostly fake teds, fake lips, fake tans, tatts are the type that you will attract (unfortunately I like those types lol).
I'd disagree. The most intelligent and quality girls I've met took care of themselves physically and they both appreciated my body. It's more than just the external.

Literally just today. I’m on a escalator. Daughter is with her mom. I’m behind them. Mom says something to daughter. Daughter does a full 360 on escalator to turn to look at me. Lol.

I started noticing my muscle development. Not as much as I'd like, but I'm like the OP, just got back into it in January. Having a lot of fun with it. A beautiful girl noticed me as I was walking out of the gym. I was happy to finally look like I lift. Other changes are that I really seem to have optimism about how much further I can go with my body. I enjoy thinking about which muscle groups I want to work next.

Not really. I don't feel more women are any more attracted, at least not that I can tell, so it probably wasn't a game changer by any means. The most it's done is get me annoying fitness comments from guys.
Death is impossible for us to fathom: it is so immense, so frightening, that we will do almost anything to avoid thinking about it. Society is organized to make death invisible, to keep it several steps removed. That distance may seem necessary for our comfort, but it comes with a terrible price: the illusion of limitless time, and a consequent lack of seriousness about daily life. We are running away from the one reality that faces us all.

Excited to get an 1800lb raw total again. That combined with being 250-260 jacked and you truely do feel like a god

Lol at women in here saying it's not a big deal. The sloots gravitate atleast 5x as hard even going from 225lbs- 265lbs in weight

Especially if your tall it's hard to even tell a lot of people lift unless they wear skin tight clothes. For people to even notice even with baggier clothes you gotta be atleast 250lbs

I'm 6'3" so right off the bat a lot of people notice me and I get a little attention. When I was skinny I wasn't confident about my body and I felt like a stick. When I got overweight I got depressed and my body felt like it was shutting down. I got really chubs in the face and looked groce. When I got into super jacked mode, people were complimenting me on my appearance and girls would come up to talk to me, not the other way around.

I did gain a bunch of weight recently as I had gotten lazy, working long hours, and was too tired for the gym. Fell into a long rut of depression and I couldn't operate like I used to. Recently got back into the swing of things after a breakup and its like night and day. I don't get tired as easily, my mind got sharper, my body feels better, and people are giving me more and more attention.

I originally got into lifting to get more girls, but now my opinion has entirely changed and I do it for myself. Nothing gets me more pumped than pushing myself and reaching heights I never have before. I've kind of become addicted to seeing myself change and my self confidence has shot through the roof. In the end, of course girls like a guy who looks handsome or is physically fit in the short term. But if you get all your **** together like staying active, working out, having a job, dressing nicely, etc. that is what gets the girls you REALLY want. After my attitude shifted on lifting, girls who would never have given me the time of day are approaching me from all angles.

Lol wat?! Maybe for average people who don't know anything about lifting or muscles. But I can tell just by the shape of a guys arms/shoulders in a t-shirt if he lifts. Even if he's just otter mode status.

So you need to basically be the size of an IFBB pro to look like you lift lol, seems legit.

She approached with her hand extended,. I slowly stepped back. "No" she said. "I just want to shake your hand. You're amazingly gorgeous." As she walked by me she copped a biceps feel.

Lol at gaining respect and sizing/comparing yourself up to other guys. I imagine most of you would still get your ass beat by a 180lb dude with 6 months boxing experience very easy

Lifting should be foremost about health benefits and enjoying the attraction from the opposite sex. Outside of that, don't kid yourself,

I got a lot of female attention when I was 6' 220 @ 15%bf. Girls approaching me all the time and a bunch of "you up" texts at 1am. My face is top notch, though. Right now, I'm bulking 260 @ 25% and my face and body have gotten bloated so not as much. Can still get by but it's not even close to the same. That said, not lifting for the women or compliments, just enjoying the strength gains. Will cut soon, though.
