Why is anyone surprised? They're all part of Hollyweird culture.

This is still very fukked up and wrong.

Imagine your parents brainwashed you into becoming the opposite sex.
I doubt all three kids just wanted to dress like a girl.
They’re being brainwashed. This is child abuse.

Really? Forcing a boy to dress like a girl and take hromones doesn't register in the grand scheme of bad parenting? I think you're under-selling this a bit.

Yeah, playing with opposite genders toys was pretty normal when we were small children. Just because a boy wants to try on a dress because his sisters are wearing them doesn't mean he wants to become a girl. This is so crazy.

The bolded. So much that. Why would you push that on your children when you know they will have harder lives because of it?

Children of celebrities don't have a great track record of psychological health anyway. There is such a thing as too much money.

Gender neutral parenting would make more sense if it wasn't always just subverting gendered norms and making boys whose biological sex is male, dress like girls and vice versa. Like, I get that if your kid is into something that is non-traditional, like a boy that wants to do cooking, sewing and dancing, let them. If a girl wants to do rough contact sports, let them. Societal norms and expectations are mostly moot in this day and age where you can do anything and everything (providing you have the capacity). But every time you see a celeb do this, they just swap the binary. They'll dress their kids the opposite gender to whatever their biological sex is; it's not so much gender neutral as just an outright switch. Even with people that try and raise gender neutral kids, the kids are rarely gender neutral, they just swap across the binary from day to day.

Yeah, it's the uniformity and consistency of it all. Like if they were all wearing whatever the ****, it'd make more sense. You'd expect kids to be dressed up as something nutty, like a fukn dinosaur and an Iron Man mask.

That could be. But it might also be a case of us knowing about the nut jobs because they are public figures. Who is to say that they percentages are the same as compared to the general population?

I disagree. The vast majority of trans chit we're seeing now is because people say they feel like the opposite sex. "Feeling like the opposite sex" translates to enjoying something the other sex usually likes, which all of the sudden means they need to transition! Which is ridiculous, they happen to be a (sex) who likes something different from what is expected. Fewer hardons for gender conformity is far from the worst thing in the world. Yes, kids need boundaries. Parents also need to pick their battles, particularly in the years when clothing choices is the one bit of autonomy a child has at that particular stage of development. Obviously, something is amiss here when every child is doing this as the thread suggests.

As a kid my family was poor, and later I had a single mother getting a pension, she went ahead and got herself an education and improved our situation. I met poor rural people, and later middle-class university students. In my first career in the army, I just met working class guys. A while after this I was briefly homeless, and met lifelong unemployed people. In my next career in hospitality, I met working class and middle class people, and a few upper class. In my current career as a trainer I've met mostly middle class and some upper class people. So I've seen a lot of different levels.

My observation is that basically, if you'reverypoor - like homeless level - then there are a lot of mental health issues, substance abuse and all that. Once there's some stable income allowing housing etc, those issues go away. Not necessarily for that individual who can after carry all sorts of scars and insecurities, I mean as a general social trend. Past that, as wealth goes up, people start to add their own made-up problems instead. As wealth increases, rates of eating disorders, anxiety and depression go up, too.

Homeless and the very poor have all sorts of issues, there might be transgendered stuff, but also drug abuse, schizophrenia and so on. It's a bit of a chicken and egg question, of course, because being a meth addict doesn't exactly help your employment prospects, you often don't even put in the form to get government benefits.

People with some sort of above minimum wage more-or-less secure job tend not to have much in the way of mental health issues. But keep adding wealth and people who are quite well-off, objectively-speaking, start to come up with all sorts of problems. And they're different problems to those the very poor have. There are not many meth addicts who are corporate lawyers, they tend to be homeless or rural poor, but plenty of corporate lawyers have eating disorders or anxiety.

Extremes don't seem to be good for humans. Very sedentary and very active both mess up their bodies. KFC fcks you up, but so does veganism. Masculinity taken too far becomes toxic and turns to nasty violence, femininity taken too far becomes toxic and turns to smothered children with tiger mums and nanny states where everything is regulated and children aren't allowed to run in playgrounds so they grow up fat and diabetic. Very poor or very wealthy messes up their heads.

It's like Warren Buffet said about his kids, that he wanted to give them enough to doanything, but not enough to donothing- he didn't think that'd be good for them.

The sensible middle ground. Unfortunately this is hard for celebrities to find because of our constant worship of them. Most of us have someone in our life to say, "Mate, stop being a fckstick." It's plain that many celebrities lack this. Certainly it's a problem political leaders have, especially if they spend too long in power. There's obviously no-one in Fox's life to tell her, "Seriously?"

No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.
