edit: ah, I see the axis labels now. They aren't visible in the in your original post. But yeah, that's a great depiction of just how significant wealth based fees can erode value over time. I could go passively capture a 9.6% CAGR in my etrade account just as easily as anything I'd ever pay 2% for. So, we're saying the same thing.

Back on topic, this is actually a worse outcome for you. It's almost easier if they can't have the rational conversation after emotions die down, because otherwise you can cleanly end it. Now you'll see hope and stay.

You're in for a long road of misery, frustration and drama. But the emotional highs she provides will provide some, or just enough, relief to keep you around.

I hope for your sake I'm wrong and she genuinely changes her actions. But don't bet on it, because the actions are driven by emotional impulses, not rational logic.

Those texts read almost exactly like my ex of almost 2 years. She wanted attention 24/7, and god forbid you want a couple of days off to yourself. She had some fuked up parental experience as a teen, so it made sense.

Only difference is my ex started acting up around 4 months after we became exclusive. We broke up probably 5 times during the 18 months and always got back together, mostly me telling her to fuk off after driving me insane. But she'd suck me back in because she was ridiculously hot, and was really nice when we got along.

Just know that she will never really be happy with you, and will always demand more. Hope I'm wrong if you give her another shot.
