Depends. If someone seems well put together overall but drives a beater, they may just be trying to be frugal about what they drive for a vehicle. Similarly, just because someone drives a new vehicle that they dropped $60k+ on doesn't mean they aren't living beyond their means on credit. On the other hand, if I see someone who dressed and acted like a criminal driving an early 80's beat up Bonneville around, I'm going to be leery of them. Or if I see some teenager driving an expensive new vehicle around, I'm going to think of them as a spoiled brat kid with rich parents.

Old enough to not judge people by the cars they drive... but..I do admire a nice car or model.

I don't look and associate the car with the driver...because as with everything you never know what's behind the scenes.

My car is beat up at the moment (damn) car parks and I just don't have time to attend to it...so if you judged me now.

Next week could go out and buy a brand new car...Would you like me better then?

When I was younger I drove those cars.
My best friend went sailing in the Mediterranean. He sold his garden and learned to climb mountains. He changed his working contract from 5 days a week to 4 days a week so he can go canoeing 3 days a week instead of 2.

I don't rent cars that often anymore.
He's off on Friday for camping.
Cycling, walking, swimming.
No car.
