Black on black crime that was a targeted shooting over drugs, a street beef, domestic related, etc. This was not an active shooter. Which is why the mainstream media doesn't care much at all. Most likely scenario is a couple of people had a street beef and settled it at the party. The majority of those struck by gunfire were not involved.

If 2 or 3 people got killed at a hip hop club, rap concert or a black only party here it wouldn't even really the news. Much less the national news. 14+ people being shot kind of elevates it to being newsworthy. But its just run of the mill drama. Unfortunately.

edit: for the record i do not want shootings massively publicized at all. Whatever news outlet doesn't report on mass shootings with the name of the perp gets my respect. However, they must be consistent across the board on it.

It was on the front page of CNN almost all of today. Had it overshadowed Trump's presser, people would be melting down. Had it been the main story of the day, people would have melted down that it was 2 people killed in gang violence. You can never win. I'm not saying CNN isn't ridiculous but come on lol.
