I agree and Ill be against it as well if the corp money is w/o conditions. I know Trump spoke specifically about making stock buy backs illegal do we know that was the case in the legislation that's failing right now?

I think they said no stock buybacks for two years. Ideally there should be very few, or some restrictions. But there are restrictions in the bill.

Nobody knows for sure but the talking points being pushed all over social media and the MSM is that "Republicans want corporate welfare, Dems want to help the people". Even though Dems don't want to pass this no matter what because it might help Trump look good

You do realize what the bill offers is a zero-interest loan to to companies affected by the forced government shutdown?

Please explain to me how a loan is "free money?"

Im only seeing the pork added from Pelosis House bill on this particular Emergency Relief Bill, of course everyone in congress wants to flood a normal bill with fat.

I understand the situation that doesn't mean we can't be pissed about it. How else do you think we have 1000+ page bills put together in days. It's because all this crap is sitting around ready to go waiting for some type of spending package to insert it into. I'm sure plenty of special interests were salivating at the thought of a rushed virus relief bill as a vehicle to pass pork. Hell, Warren was openly on twitter calling for student loan forgiveness as part of this.

He's right. However given the unprecedented nature of this virus, the optics are about as bad as it can be.
