"Speak to Me" by Amy Lee of Evanescence

It's a haunting masterpiece!! Some of you young guys should listen to this song (for the entire duration) and see if you feel something...some kind of soul in you that might be lurking somewhere...IDK...Can you do that?




Many recent ballads by Evanescence, and Amy Lee, would qualify here, such as the "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" cover and "Wasted On You" (strings version!!), "Breathe No More," "Good Enough" and "The Last Song I'm Wasting On You"!

Bad Company's 'ready for love' with a slower tempo than the original extending it out to 8 minutes from the original 5 minutes with guitar solos between the verse and chorus.

Mick Ralphs, the guitarist is the writer of the song. The bands lead singer, Paul Rodgers is IMO one of the best rock vocalist of all time.

The singer from Cinderella has one of those voices that isn't that great, but is nearly perfect for the type of music. Also, IMO, Sebastian Bach has one of the GOAT voices.

For sure. It was the best. The variety and sound from all the different music genres, not just rock music, but everything else combined just going all out. The 80's decade was it.

I agree. SkidRow is underrated and Sebastian's vocal range is strong. He can go low and high. GOAT singer for sure.

SkidRow's lead guitarist is a GOAT also. Never understood why they never used the live freestyle guitar intros on their studio album track recordings.

Another one of my favorite singers is Don Henley. Song is called 'Boys of Summer'.

Not so much a rock ballad, but a song that reflects back at time that has passed.

The tempo has been slowed down and it makes this version so much better than the original.

Great song. Don Henley and his band sound so good together.

Another singer I think is incredible is Darius Rucker. He's classified as country rock. Good vocal range. I would put him at my top 5 of all time.

Song is called 'Let Her Cry' and was written By Darius himself.
