That has never been the message.

There has not been a "we need your support" campaign. There has been aggressive and accusatory campaigns labeling white citizens as racist if they do not participate in these riots etc.

There has also been a huge push and association of the cause with these riots, protests when a lot of people are simply against civil unrest regardless of the cause. Add in the violence and vandalism and you are isolating yourself even further.

The point is there are a lot of reasons people of all cultures and backgrounds won't join this cause, and the majority of reasons have nothing to do with race.

look, you simply arent listening if thats what you think. The overwhelming majority of the voices are not saying anything close to "all whites are racist" or whatever

I love how white boys think they are experts on black lives matter and experts on racism in society against people that they do not look like.
just lol dude.

Many blacks chose their last names after being emancipated. Typically choosing names based on presidents. These names include : Jefferson, Washington, Jackson etc

You are also correct that many of us just continued with our given name handed down from the slave owner.

You know what I love?

How you resort to calling me a 'white boy' discounting my ability to have a conversation with you on a subject involving myself based on the color of my skin.

I also love how misc is labeled alt right, yet have you taken a look at coli forums? What is that then?

But that's alright. Thanks for proving my point. Good luck in your 'cause.'

Do I actually? I'm not mad in the slightest. I feel I've had pretty tame conversations and brought up some points that would be worth considering by any political group. But alright.

I'mthe expert bro. I've awakened from the matrix and have transcended the constructs of race.

BLMers are just pushing a divisive agenda to keep you in a state of duality.

I mean, the whole BLM movement though is acting like they know how the majority of white people feel and think.

Also using misc is not a good example of anything. Go look at the coli forums objectively and tell me it isn't the same.

Isn't it worth considering how the way this is being handled is pushing away the same white people who would likely stand up against racism if they witnessed it?

I am not claiming I understand the problems black people face. But with that, I would ask for the same respect that you don't understand the problems I've faced. We never will and no amount of protesting will change that.

If you want to push a cause, make it for something clear and obtainable. Without singling out groups of people based on a skin color when the cause is specifically about that.

And how you reacted calling me a white boy is how 90% of these conversations go. Any regular person would walk away at that point and go on with their day thinking "while fck you then." Yet I am here discussing with you still. But I can promise you, I will still get labelled/viewed as a white racist oppressor by the next person I try to have a reasonable discussion with regardless.

You should be able to see why an ordinary person would just say fcck it and not want to even try to be a part of this.

Blacks arent crying wolf dude. This stuff is much more common than you think, there is just rarely ways to prove it. Now that we have video, we are simply capturing random examples but this has been happening for decades in so many ways.

if you dont think its a big issue why do you think the same resume gets 30% fewer callbacks if the person is black?https://hbr.org/2017/10/hiring-discr...ed-in-25-years

I am not talking about equality of outcome. I am talking about these examples of the exact same qualifications leading to different results. That is due to race

Another examplehttps://hbswk.hbs.edu/item/minoritie...ore-interviews"whitnened resumes" get more callbacks.
You're kind of supporting my original point. Someone's name isn't their skin color, it is related to their culture though. a "Whitened resume" again isn't referencing the skin color, it's referencing cultural differences more commonly associated with white people. Which in my original point, people who have things in common tend stick together. Hillary Clinton Supporters aren't too excited to hang out with Trump Supporters and vice versa. People prefer to be around those that they have more in common with. So there is some bias in that regard but a white guy who is more immersed into African culture would receive that same bias where a black person immersed in angelo culture would not.

The majority of the country comes from angelo culture, blacks and everyone else regardless of race who is not actively trying to adapt to that culture will receive bias from those within that culture. Same way a white person or a black person or anyone else would receive bias in African culture. I think if everyone was the same skin color (everyone in the world turned purple), but kept their current cultures, that you would see the same biases play out.

BLM is just an algorithm meant to divide yourself from another aspect of yourself - so your infinite consciousness can keep the illusion that it is powerless and separate from everything else.

What better way to separate than to identify with your actual body and attribute it to the core of your being

I'm just messing around.

I actually agree that meditation and ego separation would likely subside the anger of a lot of people participating in this movement.

In on No Lives Matter

You have to prove your worth in this world. No one's handing out existential value cards. And the ones who are operating shell games. Cosmic lambs to the slaughter.

This... Which is interesting, because this is happening during a time where SO MANY people are discovering this truth around the world...

Everything in eternal balance.

Trying to solve a class problem with race based solutions ensure that class problems will remain and continue to present as problems with race.

Politicians are not in the business of eliminating their own base. This is thought of giving your supporters the freedom to consider the other party, and we can't have that now can we.

If you really want to make change, wouldnt you take everything all these white guys are saying and actually be open to implementing it?

There are tons of ways to look at this whole situation and a million conclusions you could draw. Just because "white guys" don't share the same exact opinion and draw the same exact conclusions as you doesnt mean they are being ignorant. Again, the black community doesnt even agree on all this stuff. Are they ignorant too?

If you are a violent criminal, I really don't care what happens to you. I don't care what race you are, I don't care what your social status is or how many followers you have. If you aim a gun at a pregnant woman, and then you get choked to death by a cop. It doesn't matter to me, I really don't care. And I am certain there are a lot of other people who feel this way.

But you show me a video, or if I see an innocent person harmed/in trouble I will feel sympathetic and I will want to help this person. And if I witness it in real life, I would stop it, without even considering their race.

Whether you have worth is not decided by the color of your skin, therefore I refuse to EVER support a movement that groups criminals in telling me I need to say that they matter. Because they don't. It is just as racist to act like every person within a racial group matters as it is to say the opposite.

If you are a violent criminal, go die. If you aren't, we could be best friends. It's as simple as that.

Actually a really good point.

Likely a hail Mary by the left to distract from right vs left, and make it a racism vs non racism painting their side as the non-racists. Easier to convince people to join a side claiming to not be racist and essentially controlling the media to paint anyone publically right as a racist.

How so? You've completely misunderstood if you actually believe that.

Whether your life matters is not defined by your skin color. BLM is making it completely about skin color claiming their violent criminals matter, both defending and celebrating criminals within their community.

It is unquestionable that POC started at a bad place but it is class that prevents this unfair situation from settling out.

If you are born into a chit situation you likely will die in a chit situation. This looks like systemic racism but if people had an easier time reaching the middle class the entire situation would self correct.

We provide far too many barriers and incentives to the lower class. We have them where we want them and don't want them to feel free.

The greatest systemic racism I see is when little chithead white Liberals encourage POC to burn their own cities down from the safety of their upper middle class life free from any consequences.

If white Liberals were on the side of POC they would encourage them to become cops, teachers, community leaders, politicians ..... but no, they encourage them to destroy themselves.
