many people have agreed with me, even the biggest guy ITT does

Obviously I'm NOT talking about the people that train 6 days and train on 15 minute intervals or whatever, I'm talking about people thay commit to full workouts 6/7 days a week with a lot of volume

Of course there are benefits of improving your physique and health but a big part of why i lift is the therapeutic aspect. It allows me to release any tension i may have built up throughout the previous day.

I'm not trying to prepare for a competition or anything but I obviously like the progression since i follow programs and such.

However, I would always say that spending 5-6 days in the gym would always trump spending 3 days in the gym for anybody who isn't active outside of the gym.

If you're just going to go home and get one extra hour to watch netflix, sit on the couch, or play video games... Might as well program the extra 2-3 days. It's only 45-60 minutes. Unless you absolutely hate the gym, in which case, do you.

Dude I think about that every time somebody rolls up with big hate energy. It's like, why pull the crabs back into the bucket, when you could all be free?

Yeah I mean unless you hate the gym, I feel like a six day PPL split was always the best set up when I was natty.

PPL or PPL/UL (when I knew I'd go away for the weekend) was where I saw the best results as a natural.

Now that I'm not, I've been exploring different set ups.
My current split is push/pull/legs/rest/push/pull+legs(posterior only, no quad work)/rest and I love it. Recovery is on point, every muscle group gets hit 2× per week except quads, which in my case don't need as much help right now anyways, plus they get absolutely trashed on leg day.

lmao exactly this

I do PPL x6 a week, 3 strength, 3 hypertrophy

40-50 minute workouts, cardio and MMA

Pretty much just work, lift, shooting and rinse and repeat. Won't get into it as to why I don't have much of a social life but that's pretty much it

You know how it's obvious you're the same turd as the other alts like Colin?

You start out with an outrageous premise in your thread title, like 'you can eat whatever you want', then as the topic progresses you slowly change bits and move the goalposts to be more reasonable.

Now suddenly you're not talking about people who train 6 days a week and program properly? Where do you state this in the OP where you originally make your assertion?

Again, as long as you program properly and intensity volume and frequency are balanced, you can train as many times a week as you want.

Bro I make like 10 threads and different accounts, I don't have time to be this meticulous. At some point you guys have to use your common sense, I'm not writing detailed posts just for the thread to be deleted in 45 seconds by some cuck mod.

You are stating rare cases to justify your point, when in general people don't follow this. And the evidence is in this very thread. 100% of people are training full workouts 6/7 days

Common sense?

Your thread just says 'people in the gym 6 days a week'

It doesn't mention programming or exceptions. People aren't mind readers, it's an extremely important life skill to be precise with your language, otherwise you're not properly communicating what you're trying to say.

No doubt but in yj circumstance I don't have that choice.

Use your gumption, you're the first person to argue the volume point which says everyone else understood my view except u. Strong oveethinkjnf.

Gotta get the magic 12 reps with the 50s and one day on that 3rd set boom, gains everywhere

Tbh I use the same weights most of the time but I hit my trtnatty limits so progress has to come through extra volume

Stopped benching after 225, was pretty happy with hitting that

Strength gain isn't really mostly for the gym anyway, it's to help me out in my current career right now because big boys under the influence like to think they can take everyone on so it helps to be able to pick people up and slam them to the ground in self defense

I'm confused though, thought your issue was with people training for 6 days straight, then you changed it to 7 and now you have issues with progression of strength for lifters. What's going on here mate? You seem to be flipping everywhere in your arguments

Probably 4 days a week, 45 mins resistance and a half hour on the treadmill is the most optimal for me at this point. So like 1 hour 15 mins I'm done. I've made all the natty gains I could possibly make since I've been training since 16

I don't really give a toss what people spend their time on but I'd say that guys who make lifting/gymming the center of their identity likely have self esteem issues they think can be fixed if only they get big enough/ripped enough. Half these guys are coping with these internal issues by shoving needles into their asses for their supposed "hobby" too.

I'm not trolling, I'm really really not. But I don't think you're cut out for law enforcement. It's not just physical, it's mental. You don't have the personality for it and you'll end up getting mogged day after day and out witted, and you'll go home every night wondering why you chose that lath. Then you'll turn into some angry, bitter cop, eventually all the pent up anger will release and you'll take it out on some random guy and end up being the most hated cop in the country and incur a hefty fine, national hate and prison time.

Already know plenty of cops around me mate, worked with them and I already know what I need to. Your opinion means null. Also I don't think you're the best person right now to be talking about mentality. I mean you frauded another guys physique pics because of your own inadequacy and then try to make sure people don't bring it up by always flipping your argument.

Good way to wake yourself up and prepare for the day. Lift for 30 mins in the morning 5-6 days per week. Home gym makes this easy. When I went to a commercial gym I only trained 3x per week though.

True, the guy in my last thread wanted to do ster0ids because he was struggling socially. And I think changeofstyle is goin down the same route. They place too much significance on lifting.

I mean y'all can do that if you want, but the pro bodybuilders I know who take growth and OJ and are olympian level with master's degrees in related fields still only do PPL 5 days a week. John Jewett is about as smart as they come and a monster who stays lean year round and he does 3 on 1 off 2 on 1 off for the gym. Off days are grow days and allows your on days to be more On which is what stimulates growth.
I am not going to argue if you want to be in the gym 6 days a week, go for it, but its probably not as optimal with push pull legs as 2 days off a week.

Things like DC training you are advised by Dante to take 3 days off a week, and thats for advanced geared lifters.

Mirin home gymers, though I find the environment boring, I prefer the gym environment where its easier to rain with friends, hit on sloots, etc.

I could post an OLD vid of me doing 225x 10 if u want. This is early training vid

Plz tell me you can bench 225 for 10 reps. I'm cringing if you can't, I mean you train 6/7 days a week for fuks sake.

Go for it

In that video, how long did you train for?

Also how would we even know it was you? You can post anyones video and claim it was you, not like it'll be a first here right?

Yeah it's fair enough if you're at that upper end but no one should be pressing 50lb weights and stuck at that
