I've looked at how meat is made. it's also disgusting. but since people typically don't take pride in it, I don't consider it nearly as bad as a bunch of degenerates killing an animal brutally for no practical reason at all.

Authorities carry out inspections. Farms breaking the law get fined. Diseases, tumors, etc. are just part and parcel of breeding livestock on a massive scale.

Buying meat is not the same as killing an animal. It might contribute to climate change or the continued operation of a meat plant, but it's not the same as gutting a cow and harvesting it's meat and organs yourself. Or else, for every one cow that got killed, 100 people would each be fully responsible for the death of said cow.
