I was debating making a thread about this yesterday after hearing about how abysmal modern dating is from single friends and reading all these types of threads here but...I am so fuking appreciate that I'm married. I don't even want to imagine having to engage with this type of bullschit.

I know a lot of you guys aren't into the idea of marriage but it's truly a wonderful thing. My wife and I have been together forever, we've grown and developed together. There's not an ounce of doubt or mistrust. If I was dating now, it would never be the same. Not at all. Once you've gone through multiple life events alongside someone, that solidifies your relationship more than I can express. Meeting a new woman in my 30s would never produce the same effect, no matter how amazing the woman happened to be.

For those of you in LTR's, appreciate it. Do something nice for your partner on a daily basis to show them how much you appreciate them. Dead srs.
