I think getting "big" is a waste of time, as most people write you off as a meathead and you actually lose opportunity.

However, I'm currently still like 15 pounds of fat overweight from quarantine and it will be a night & day difference for me once it's gone. Will go up like 2 full points in attractiveness. If you have that perfect mix of being lean muscular, that's when people respect you the most. I work with wealthy individuals, and have experienced this firsthand.

How 'big' have you been? I'm assuming you ran a few cycles of juice to get that big? Or are you just talking about something you've never experienced

I know about 10 guys that are juiced up. 230lbs+ and lean (10% body fat and lower). Guys that have been lifting for 15-30 years. That have given up their natty card 10+ years prior. They get more respect in a professional environment then other people by far.

Why is it that every time some miscer talks about really jacked guys not being taken seriously or losing opportunities in a corporate environment. Or talking about how women don't like bodybuilders... Its never someone who's actually juiced to the gills complaining he needs to deflate back down to normal size to make it in business or to get laid. Its always a twink/average looking guy speculating on the hardships of being juiced up.

Let me drop a bombshell. I've been lifting a long time. Left my natty card behind some time ago. I know a lot of guys that have left their natty card behind a long time ago too. The only reason I've ever heard to want/need to get off cycle is for health reasons. Physical appearance and how people perceive you is a huge part of life.

Its any environment. I first noticed it in college. Had a good friend that was juiced up. Just a big frame dude at 5'10ish and maybe 240lbs. Dude just got an enormous amount of respect from the professors and other students in the classes we had together. He wasn't loud or trying to be an alpha male. He was just regarded by everyone as a leader/someone that stood out. Fast forward years later I began having a few other friends/associates that fit that mold. And I also noticed they were immediately noticed/respected by other people. Even people of 'authority' over them.

It actually requires time, hard work, dedication and intelligence to put together a solid/stand-out physique. I think people subconsciously respect someone that is dedicated to something to the point where they master it/achieve something beyond the ordinary. I think any amount of hate people give is because they feel inferior, that they will never achieve anything like that. And they are just coping. Yes in general being really jacked gets more attention/respect of men then women. They are more likely to ask questions about working out or supplements. And its not because they despise you/think you are a meathead. Its because they are insecure with their own physique/wish they could be better.

My girlfriend watches me pin and she's like "I wish you would stop that." "You don't need to do that." "You already have a girlfriend and I love you, I don't know why you keep doing that." Etc. When I say I'm not doing it for you, I'm doing it for me. She gets jealous/insecure as hell. She's already told me a lot of her friends/coworkers have said they think I'm sexy. She's lucky. They'd want to **** me/date me if they could, etc.

She's made it clear. She started dating me because she thought I was attractive and thought I was built sexy. Now she wants me to slack off because she doesn't want a bunch of other chicks flirting/trying to hook up. That and now that she's with me she's under enormous pressure to eat healthy and work out with me all the time so she stays looking good. She 100% believes if she lets herself go I'm going to drop her and move on.

Knowing what I know now. There is no way I'd ever 'let myself go'. Especially as I get older.

Had an ex do the same thing. Her whole dorm section would call me grey sweat pants because I was a soccer player and worked out a lot at that time, and I'd always wear these old grey sweatpants that apparently showed off my legs and ass. She locked me down after I chose her, but after about two years it went from "I love your muscles and how big you are," to "you workout too much. Why do you care so much?" I was only working out 4 days a week 2 hours each time at that point.

But honestly being fit and jacked really does have a big effect. I went from a sophomore in college being the tall goofy skinny kid that looked like a freshmen in high school, and then by senior year everyone acted like I was a titan and a leader. Went from getting a few girls here and there to choosing from the best of the best just by lifting along with soccer which matured me into a man.

Now I get respect everywhere I go. Some just for my size, some guys say I look scary with a beard now too, etc. It always comes up as a point of conversation. I'm not huge or jacked af or anything either. Just look like I lift with broad shoulders.

But the real main reason it has a more positive effect is because I am humble and play it off completely. I'm not a douche or act tough and badass because I'm a little bigger. People tend to like that. Honestly can't stand when it gets brought up unless it's just talking about routines or something.

So it's just one aspect and isn't the end all be all, but it definitely has an effect.

I’ve been 230 at 6’1 and lean, did not help me at all from a professional standpoint. At least in my industry, being good at your job and reliable is far more important to clients than how jacked you are. It may vary by industry, certainly I could see it being more beneficial in a more blue collar field or for certain types of sales.

I do think more younger girls like that ripped and 6 pack abs look, while older ladies want that mass.

Well...being in OJ has many more long lasting health benefits that will eventually catch up to you later in your years.

Im 42, never touched OJ, lifted for the past 15 years and have spent the past 25 years as kickboxer/mma fighter and jiujitsu practitioner. 6 of those 25 years was as a professional fighter in Russia.

Even today, at 42 with a full time job in the trades and with 2 kids....I still lift 4 days a week and train 3 days a week.

Im not huge by any means, but compared to the majority of 40 year old dads...im like a fukin superhero lol.
