i'm 40 and can retire in 10 years if i wanted to, but i would have to retire in the philippines to enjoy it. i have two young kids, so realistically i will have to retire in 20 years, which is fine by me. that's an additional 20 years of adding into my TSP and will bump me to 37 years of federal service.
