Why is it when dudes go in the military they become desperate to get married? It's even happened with friends of mine. I was a groomsman in one's wedding and me and the best man (who was also military) took him for a drive to burn a cig a couple hours before and tried to tell him it wasn't too late to bail. I kinda felt bad for doing that but turned out I was completely justified when he came back from his nine month tour in Afganistan to find her 6 months pregnant and had blown through his entire bank out account on fast food and clothes from Rue 21. ded srs. $50k on fast food and cheap clothes in 9 months

I do not like the 'step' label at all. They do not earn authority for romance with your real mother/father. I never understood why people think they're somehow 'parents'. They're almost certainly inappropriate or abusive in any real involvement with the children.
