No you mis understood. I was saying to that guy I have enough to be set for life. Meaning when btc goes to 7 figures I’ll be set for life. I didn’t say enough right now. Even at 20 that’s not enough to be set for life. By the end of the year I’ll be set for life if it hits the price targets in thinking. Keep hating *******.

This is a trial run, give it enough transactions and companies will move to newer technologies. We are not even at half the volume as we were in 2018.

Just waiting to see what happens with the regulations. A carbon tax on bitcoin is possible. If something like that were to happen the price would dump so hard. Remember that bitcoin is not eco friendly and the environment is the biggest cause on the agenda. Some folks are alrewady suggesting a carbon tax on bitcoin, which would lead to a big institutional sell off and loss in confidence.

Sustainability will be the biggest trend over the next decades, and bitcoin ain´t sustainable. That means that the biggest trend is working against bitcoin. The big guys will sell their stake in bitcoin if it is deemed 100% unsustainable. That is very likely to happen. The big hedge funds will not continue to support something unsustainable for any longer than they have to. Read up on it dum dums. Trillions of dollars will move into sustainable companies. Bitcoin will get dropped like a bad habit once there is a more sustainable attractive crypto alternative out there, and then the institutions owning millions of bitcoin will sell off and dump it extremely hard and fast.

Guess what happens when institutions that own hundreds of thousands of BTC starts to sell them. You don´t really think they will hold that BTC forever do you? HAHAHAHA. Who will take the opposite side of that trade when billions of dollars in bitcoin is looking to get sold. Retail? haha

Find the next trend instead of going all in on a dying trend. Sustainability will be the number one most important thing moving forward. In every aspect of society, which means bitcoin will be fought against, which means institutions that own btc will turn into sellers eventually. And all the institutions that wanted bitcoin would already have it or try to sell it, which could crash the price fast, I mean super fast. It could literally go from 100k to below 1k in 24 hours.

OP is right. I’m doing this same thing. I remember watching from the sidelines during the 2017 bull thinking I missed out. Ended up buying every dip from 2018-2020. I will buy again after we correct from this bull run. 2024 halving will likely take btc past 500k

Yes and whoever held it made a lot. The rest have missed the boat. It seems to be gaining mainstream traction and every purchase by larger traditional finance groups will lead to more stability, as will increased regulation.

OP, don´t depend on old Bitcoin to get you out of poverty. Just buy Tezos like smart money is doing, then you might actually move out from that overcrowded apartment of yours. I feel you, it must be tough living with other people in a pod. Thats why you have so much faith in bitcoin, because you see it as a means to escape. Don´t worry friend, I got ya. If you buy crypto, buy xtz and relax knowing you will make it. If tezos don´t make it big, no crypto will make it big. It is that simple

Until you got major institutions buying into your chit coins then I have zero interest specially looking at that coin it has a high supply cap.

This.

I can see Bitcoin going up for a another year or two.

In the long term I guarantee the fed will implement some type of government controlled coin and use helicopter money + the pandemic to get everyone into their digital wallet.

Literally no one believes you. You spent enough money to run nodes AND on mining operations in a space you seem to know nothing about but think it is simply scams? GTFO...

What did you buy in 2013? What did you run nodes on? What did you mine? What years?

I was buying bitcoin in 2013 when you had to walk in to a bank, deposit cash in to a random bank account, then email the dude and he would send bitcoins to your wallet.

I spent $2000 on GPU's and mined ethereum, vertcoin, what ever was profitable at any given time. I also used Nicehash which like most things in crypto was a pretty much a scam. I bought 1 asic miner from china to mine litecoin. Which also turned out to be a scam and 2nd hand miner was sent to me. as soon as they sell their miners they have a better one that they use.

I ran a dash masternode with my brother, on linux servers that we rented.

I've bought in to many ICOs and dumped on noobs after the first big pump

I've dipped my feet it everything crypto and I was delusional much like the posters in this thread.

After you realize its a ponzi scheme, you can really make money without being emotionally and physically invested.

I sold all my holdings the other day. I lodge everything for taxes and mow I wait until it all dies down again, and people lose interest.

But don't worry I'm just making all this up
