I agree with making the first move in theory. Basically she's saying, get off the apps and think of the guys in your real life who you're ignoring and hit them up. I agree with this. Much better path to success. Most guys will give them a chance.

But in reality they're all going to move on the same 5 guys and be depressed after chad fuks them all but only dates one or none in the end.

Reading the article, you can tell there is something not quite right with the interpretation of the data.

The following quote captures it somewhat “'If a guy is getting a lot of attention from women, he's going to think he's deserving of all that attention. It's human nature. When women get a lot of attention from men, some women think they're special too.'

If a dude is getting a lot of attention, then he IS deserving of it. Same goes for women.

I think the issue is moreso that these women eventually discover that the object of their desire is in fact flawed and human. Same holds true for women once you get past their beauty.
