So much this. There's always a choice. Mark's first mistake was probably marrying her. While it's true that people change and you don't always know who someone else will become, I would bet everything that there were some definite warning signs that he chose to ignore. Best time to walk away with the fewest consequences was before they married. Next mistake was taking her back. Next was becoming a swinger. He still has a choice, though.

Mark most likely thinks he can't do any better and thus settles for a relationship he doesn't want because 1) he thinks his wife is hot 2) he doesn't want to be lonely 3)he wants to stay together for the kids.

She would end up with the house and kids, and you would be slaving to pay both child support and alimony while she devotes her time using your money to be a “full time mom”. I know finance isn’t your strong suit, but You would be ruined financially, mentally, and physically. That is the world we live in.

The only choice Mark has is to either figure out how to go back in time and stop his younger self from ruining his life by marrying this tramp, or wait it out until the kids are out of the house so he isn’t totally financially wrecked in the divorce.

First off just LOL at thinking I'd ever want to be an investment banker, have friends in IB and PE (no thanks Jeff)

Secondly I've never claimed to be a finance guy, I work in sales for a finance company, so yeah I'm chit at finance, I don't claim to be good .. which is why I don't work in finance...

Finally, I'm sure if there is infidelity this guy has options? Maybe he could hire a private investigator? But maybe you're a lawyer so would know better (inb4 I'm a wannabe lawyer too)

It's actually not hard if you're attractive and charismatic. Tons of websites out there catering to the fetish crowd. You put up a profile (mine is on Fetlife) and reach out to people who advertise they are looking for a bull. Or sometimes a male partner for a foursome with another girl. Obviously you still have to be in good shape and have game. Being a legit dominant also helps because a lot of the women are wanna be submissives. Lots of guys are "fake doms" and are just pretending and real people can spot that a mile away.

Back in the day infidelity may have meant something, but think now a days I think it is a non-factor. Think almost all divorces are no-fault divorces unless the husband beats the wife. I could be wrong though.
