Lions are an outlier

The only person that can change a losing culture that far gone is Tom Brady. Like he did for the franchise with the worst win % in the league

What specific plays did he choke on?
How about the play that gave the 49ers the ball back to win the game? Would that work for you?

It's called a choke when you're reigning MVP, number one seed, and you lose to a team that wouldn't have made the playoffs in last years playoff bracket..

Jimmy was playing on the road with a ****ed up thumb and shoulder, he also had huge drops by his WRs including a likely TD catch by Kittle.

Rodgers didn't play terrible and wasn't like he threw a pick 6 to end it...but there is no arguing only putting up 10(even 13 if you don't knock him for the missed FG although do you really credit him for the clear breakdown in coverage?) is a major fail for one of the league MVP front runners.

And he also missed an easy first down on the 3rd and 11 play because he locked onto Adams and threw into double coverage hoping for his guy to make a play or get a cheap flag.

You expect this from guys like Garoppolo or rookies.

Im a diehard packers fans but praising anything other than the Packers defense is LOL at this point. Rodgers didn't "lose" the game but he sure as **** did nothing to win it either. In his own words after the game, he said he didnt play great. Special Teams lost that game but the offense was a joke and Rodgers is part of that offense. It looked like he played scared. The play calling was terrible and they went away from a ton of the designed play calls that worked great during the season. I am concerned for the Packers organization. They had arguably the most talented roster they have ever had and got bounced first round by a 6 seed with home field advantage to a QB that has never played in a game under 32 degrees. Jimmy G made the plays down the stretch when he needed too. Jimmy G lmfao, the guy sucks. What a massive choke job all the way around. Absolutely pathetic.

I mentioned the forced throw to Adams in the post of mine you quoted… he had Lazard open from replays. It wasn’t the worst choice on his part- the odds of a completion to Adams or a PI call were fairly high. He just had a higher percentage throw available and he was locked into Adams.

The game plan for the packers after they fumbled turned into run, run, 3rd and long- sack or scramble for life and hope for a miracle. Pretty pathetic to watch.

Rodgers had a lead, no turnovers and was completing like 80+% of his throws at halftime and into the second half, despite 0 degree temps and some drops.

Brady completed less than 50% of his passes, had an int, and had a significant deficit at halftime and into the second half.

So one puts up similar stats to regular season despite terrible temps and field conditions, and one chokes and puts up a fraction of the stats he normally does. He pads his stats at the end of the game when his defense gets some turnovers.

Yet Rodgers is the one we’re calling out?

People claim Rodgers chokes in the playoffs, but his playoff stats are actually quite good and not all that different from his regular season stats despite coming up against a bunch of elite defenses. His defense gives up an average of 35 in playoff losses. This is the first time the defense played well and they lost, and it is primarily on special teams.

Brady gets a pass for plenty of playoff games where he chucks 3 ints but his defense keeps him in it.

In Rodgers playoff career, aside from the loss to the giants (the year they won the SB) and this loss, nearly all losses have been when the packers were significant underdogs and most have been on the road.

Hard to really all any of those choking when your team is horribly mismatched and it was a miracle you made it that far.

Last year against Tampa could be considered too, but most of that was because his defense gave up that bonehead TD before half, and then jones fumbled near the packers goal line to start the second. So a 3 point game was suddenly a 3 possession game and Rodgers had zero fault in any of it. He brought the packers back against the elite Tampa D but flackery up just a bit short, while clutch Brady threw a bunch of ints and nobody questioned him…

Is it really home field advantage playing in that kind of weather where its harder to pass the ball??

tbh i feel like packers should have tanked and played in the wild card away from this snow

I just did cause they're clearly deluded at this point, all they have is excuses and it's sad.

Deep down they know Rodgers is a loser, when an all time great QB is down multiple scores in a must win game - they give you the feeling it isn't over until there's zeroes on the clock

When Rodgers is down multiple scores in a must win game, against a good opponent, you know it's over when he starts pouting...

there's a reason he has 1 SB appearance in 15 years and it's not always because of the coaching, the kicking, the receivers, the defense, the ST. the refs, the league bias against him, the wind or whatever his nut huggers can come up with to absolve him of any blame.

Throwing into double coverage versus throwing to a wide open guy for an easy 40+ yard completion or another pretty open dude for what’s most likely a TD….I could see jaydawg making that defense but I didn’t know other Packers fans were that retarded. Nothing in double coverage has a “fairly high” positive impact.

He didn’t even give Adams a chance to make a play on it. He made a bad play in a critical spot. Not that hard to admit it.
Horny.

In AR's 10 career playoff losses:

2009 - at Cardinals (Pack were 2.5 point favorites)
2011 - vs Giants (Pack were 8 point favorites)
2012 - at 49ers (Pack were 3 point underdogs)
2013 - vs 49ers (Pack were 3 point underdogs)
2014 - at Seahawks (Pack were 8.5 point underdogs)
2015 - at Cardinals (Pack were 7 point underdogs)
2016 - at Falcons (Pack were 6.5 point underdogs)
2019 - at 49ers (Pack were 8 point underdogs)
2020 - vs Bucs (Pack were 2.5 point favorites)
2021 - vs 49ers (Pack were 5.5 point favorites)

https://www.pro-football-reference.c.../gamelog/post/

So the home and away is close to even with 6 on the road and 4 at home.

You'd have to define "significant underdog" via a point spread (7+?), but the Pack were actually FAVORED to win in 4 of the 10 losses and very slight underdogs in two of the others, bro.

The first loss to the cardinals was his first ever playoff game, which on the road, and he put up 45 points and lost.

The loss to the giants was an egg. It’s the same year the giants beat Brady in the super bowl.

The bucs game was close. The difference was already described in this thread. It was a 3 point game at halftime until Kevin king jet a deep TD go over his head when the bucs had 7 seconds and no timeouts. Then jones fumbled on the first possession in the second half and it’s a 3 possession game. Rodgers led the packers back against an elite Tampa d while Brady starting throwing ints against a bad packers d.

The San Fran game has been discussed already.

One if the San Fran losses was Rodgers second game back from a clavicle fracture.

The Seattle game was a botched onside kick.

Inmost if those losses, the defense gave up 35 points or more.

Now do Brady’s losses. Most were at home where he was the favorite.

Yet Rodgers is the choker? Stats don’t support it when you break it down.

The post season failures are easier to overlook when you have more post seasons success than almost any franchise.

Erin doesn't have enough post season credit to play that game

Much if that success is completely out of the hands if the QBs.

The worst Rodgers ever played in the nfc championship game was ironically the one that he won, and then he lit up the super bowl.

Brady threw 3 ints the the nfc championship game last year and squandered a 3 possession lead that was gifted to him, but his d made plays when Rodgers d couldn’t get a stop to get the ball back in his hands.

Brady won a super bowl because the Seahawks decided handing it off to lynch to walk in would be too easy… so the Seahawks threw an int.

The list goes on.

I forgot about the 2015 game against the cards. Cobb got hurt so Rodgers was throwing to Jeff Janis and Aberderus… who had combined for like 11 catches all season.

The cards had beaten the packers by like 30 a few weeks prior, Rodgers got them to OT with some Hail Marys, but they lost the toss, fitz takes a catch 80 yards for a TD and they lose, Rodgers never even gets a shot.

That was a miracle game that counts as an L.
