Not sure about numbers but the section I passed was a fukload of trucks, and there were stations set up along the TransCanada highway with people gathered. Pretty sure every jacked up F350 with an Alberta license plate is out there


It was enough trucks for me to greedily wonder how much gas/oil they're consuming while doing this

That will be the interesting part. They are coming from the east as well and then the massive contingent coming down the Trans-Canada highway which comes from the north and ones from Toronto from the west. I'm still thinking it will be less than 1000 actual big trucks and probably a couple of thousand other support vehicles. Will love to see tomorrow's videos of the highways, I'm staying the hell away from anything remotely downtown for the weekend.

And Trudeau is hiding supposedly in "quarantine". He's always been a massive wuss, but this just confirms he's no leader. A real leader would stand right on the Hill and actually engage the group.

Just read a report that said the convoy was 70km long from start to finish. With about 100 meters per vehicle that would be 700 vehicles - including smaller ones. Odds are the bigger trucks want a bit more space when they are traveling so based on that estimate I'd say it's under 500 vehicles total, which is about what the OPP reported entering the province.
