You pretty much never hear of people getting neurological reactions, myocarditis, blood clots, death, guillain barre syndrome, etc from the flu shot. Me saying I didn't get any symptoms isn't an exception or even something out of the ordinary. It is the NORM.
You saying you didn't get any symptoms after your mRNA jab is not even in the same league. If it was, you'd be hearing massive amounts of people making a big deal out of the flu shot, or you'd hear nobody opposing the mRNA vaccine. Neither of those is the case.

The end.
The end.
Show me the current evidence it reduces transmission. It reduces symptoms, potentially keeping some from going to hospitals. It does nothing with omicron.
In my case: it would not reduce my chance of going to the hospital. That chance is already statistically near zero.
To refresh or inform you, I am not obese and I do not have comorbidities. I have had and fully recovered from covid last June-ish. My risk is non-existent, I would need to get reinfected (which isn't happening) and this time instead of having mild allergy-like symptoms, hit the reverse lottery and somehow end up in bad shape and needing to go to the hospital. That won't happen unless I get omicron, which the vaccines do nothing against (and, as it's reported to be milder than the strain which gave me little more than a runny nose - highly unlikely it would hit me very hard).
So, no - not "the end" but instead just a rather unconvincing argument on your part.

And yes the vaccines do work against bad symptoms from omicron. Take the tin foil hat out of your ass you pp sucker. Every state publishes that only 5-8% of the people in the hospital are vaccinated. Take it another step further, if you’re boosted, and don’t have cancer, transplant, etc… there is almost no chance at death. Go read what ER nurses and doctors post.

Even if your wife/parents/friends tell me you just got vaxed/ boosted. I'll say ok and note it in my report. The portion of the report where your medical history is noted is not public record. Further more, there is no data-base that this goes into. I'll mention it to the coroner as we stuff your body into the bag. He'll do an autopsy. The death will be ruled as 'natural causes' with no sign of foul play. And again nothing about you being vaccinated right before or that the vaccine possibly contributed to the death goes into any kind of official data base. A large portion of vaccinated people trust the government and assuming you get vaccinated or boosted and die a couple of months later nobody is going to even mention it unless questioned.
Assuming you didn't have an over-dose from 'illegal' street drugs. And weren't obviously murdered. Nobody will put any effort into determining your real cause of death. Assuming your family has a sh!tload of money and influence they can order separate autopsy's and try to determine if the vaccine caused it. But even if the medical investigators they hire determine the vaccine contributed to your death. There is still no national database that this goes into. And if you try to put it on social media it will get censored/deleted.
People die all the time. Nobody is really keeping track/trying to determine if the vaccine causes increased mortality risks. As the guy who often investigates in home deaths and stuffs a few dozen bodies into bags with the coroner per year. I find the topic interesting. But I don't necessarily even care enough to keep track. Local coroner certainly doesn't care either. Its not a criminal matter.
So when people talk about vaccine deaths I really just question the source. There is no unified effort into this. Nobody gives a fukk. Nobody is monitoring vaccinated individuals for unrelated deaths months later.

There's no narrative against the vaccines going on currently, so naturally, the effort of finding links between vaccines and side effect by the people who are supposed to is pretty much zero.
So trusting covid numbers that support the govs narrative and also trusting the official side effects from vax numbers that dont support their narrative is incredibly naive and short sighted.

All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

Or are you basing your entire opinion on the anecdotal stories you mentioned here without sourcing?
You’re not arguing in good faith you goober.
In what way?I have fully recovered from the previous strain. Omicron is reported as milder than it and I had no issues with delta. If the vaccines have some protection against omicron, fine. I do not believe they do.
What I would need to establish is a) how protective they are and b) for how long. That way, I could look at that and then weigh the threat omicron represents to me personally and based on that determine if they vaccines and the rare risks they represent are more or less of a threat to me.
So, I'm open-minded here. I don't want your stories about some nurse. I have close friend who works at Cook's Children and I get her first-hand take already, I don't really need your second or third hand anecdotal evidence.
In any event, right now - right now is what I am asking about. Delta is no longer the strain getting most people and I have natural immunity against it. Omicron is really the only thing I need to be concerned about, so I need to take a measured look at that to decide.
Got anything besides weak insults and stories you promise are true? Anything concrete?

> The vaccines do not stop transmission or spread of the virus one bit.
So, if something new has come out - I'm open-minded about it.
I will take a step back, though. I am working under the premise that I have zero to be worried about with prior strains of covid. Maybe zero is too optimistic and I should recognize it may be more.
The question then is this: What is the current threat?
- Delta/whatever is no longer the prevalent strain
- I had a very easy time of it last June
- We now know the vaccines drop in effectiveness over time
So, right now, getting vaccinated would afford me some level of protection against a previous strain for 3-6 months. That strain is no longer infecting most people. I had a very easy time of it last time around. My health is more-or-less the same now as it was then, nothing new to make me more vulnerable other than the passage of time.
Is it worth it? How badly do I need 3-6m protection against a virus that isn't out-and-about any longer, than I almost assuredly (but not necessarily 100%) am immune to and that if it breaks my immunity, the last time I had it produced very mild symptoms.
Meh. Still not feeling it.
Maybe when they produce one for omicron, if it's still the primary strain, we can revist this. Honestly, I will probably still say No, but I do think a much stronger argument to take it could be made then.

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Ok (just got through it) - you are right and you are wrong.
You have a more compelling argument now and you certainly dash the idea I was saying that the vaccines are useless/pointless against omicron. This study seems to show otherwise. So, on that front, I'll stop saying the vaccines are pointless. Apparently, if you take them 3+ times, they show some promise in reducing hospitalizations.
One thing, and I found this interesting, they are claiming omicron now represents 99% of cases. I didn't even realize it was that high - so basically, right now - Omicron is it, period. Interesting.
Studies are interesting and they are good to base the beginning of knowledge on. They also can sometimes break down or fall apart. Just saying, they are not set in stone. These may very well be, boosting might help with omicron. I'd like to have a deeper understanding than that, though. Why? How? How long? This only shows correlation but actual science wants causation and knowing how.
I could make a hypothesis right now: Boosting only works because it refreshes the anitbodies that wane over time. Everyone who initially got the vaccine months back were back to square one and the boosting just replenished the supply. Who the fuk knows if that is true, but if it were - then we need to really look at boosting. Does boosting give you the same benefits over time? Do the risks stay the same or go up/down? I've heard some doctors speculate that boosting causes less and less of an antibody response with each boosting.
You guys, you find some study that says things you like or reinforces your world view and you stop right there - but that's not how things work, this is the beginning of discussion and knowledge never stops. You never stop understanding, you discover new things constantly.
I certainly do back off what I said about vaccines/omicron, sure. I won't say it again. This is far from over and done, though.
> Umm the evidence is less than 10% of the people dying of Covid in the hospitals are vaxed.
That same evidence shows overwhelmingly that those who are dying, vaccinated or not, are overweight, elderly and with numerous comorbidities. That someone like me: who is middle aged but not elderly, in good shape, with no health issues, that group is not at risk at all. Virtually nothing to worry about.
Why am I going to just look at some of the data and not all of it? The data shows: If you are at risk, getting vaccinated makes sense. Great - I've been saying that from the start. It's also showing: In my personal situation, I have almost nothing to be concerned about. I have LESS to be worried about with omicron than I did with Delta (and I know from personal experience, delta was not hard for me).
Correct me where I am wrong: As I look at it, I'm staring at two unlikely scenarios. One, that Omicron will get/hurt/kill me or two, that I get vaccinated and develop health issues. I have to weigh which rare chance is greater than the other, right?
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

You’re not arguing in good faith you goober.

I have this set to start at about the 7 minute mark where the newsreaders all agree that the shots are not effective against preventing infection or transmission and furthermorethat the original studies done to get the shots approved did not even look at any variance in transmission.Srs. That was lie spread through the media unsupported by the original studies done on the shots.
About the shot stopping transmission of Omicron- I don't think so:

That giant spike in cases at the end of the graph is how the 4th shot performed against new omicron cases.

P51 is proof this has taken on a religious level of conviction. Literally every country on earth is showing huge spikes in new case spread AFTER the "vaccine" roll out ... But he WILL get his 5th booster, and 6th, then get covid again, then get the 7th.... You cant help these people.

As I said earlier in this thread I go to a lot of at home deaths. It typically a family member calling. Their relative is at home with Covid. Cannot reach them on the phone.
We arrive, check the house, they are dead in bed or on the couch. Coroner bags them. Does autopsy. Cause of dead = natural causes. No documentation on whether they are vaccinated or not is recorded. No official database is recording how many vaccinated deaths occur in the home. Its a shrug of the shoulders.
Since Covid began I've been responding to welfare checks on people that are C19 positive at least a couple of times a week. I physically drive to someone's house. Make contact. Speak with them. Interact with them. Etc.
I'm unmasked and unvaccinated. I've caught Covid once. Minor bug for 12 hours. All of my vaccinated and boosted coworkers have caught Covid. Most of the at least twice. Some of them with fairly severe symptoms. Most of them symptoms similar to mine.
Based on what I've seen/experienced the vaccine seems fairly worthless. But I don't know, maybe you are personally witnessing a bunch of vaccinated people skate through Covid with no issues and unvaccinated people are dying like flies.
