15% of the male population in the US is over 6' and only 4% are over 6'2 so probably around 1% is over 6'4.

i didn't read the whole thread so maybe someone mentioned this but isn't it hypocritical that guys can't filter women by weight? and weight is something that can be controlled, height is not. also, throw race in there. why waste everyone's time? i don't want to see big fat obese black women (or big fat obese ANY women). although it's sad in 2022 that most guys will f**k anything including obese pig women.

Brah, I'm also a frustrated manlet, but there are definitely other components that compound the issue, especially on the apps. A few off the top of my head:

1) can't judge personality easily/quickly on apps, so they encourage filtering by physical attributes
2) the social status associated with height/dating a tall guy
3) the measurement system - if all of humanity shrunk 4 inches, I doubt there'd be as big a desire for 5'8" as there is for someone 6 feet. 6 feet is just an easy target for a cutoff since it's a nice number.
4) women not being able to gauge height well/men frauding on apps but then being encouraged to pick specific numbers. I doubt men who are 6'1" do much differently from those who are 6'3" irl.

Theres more to it than "it's just the way they are."

Height is valued in remote african villages with no apps or status or anything. Its inherently ingrained in biology to just be more attracted to that for women.

It is apparently by today's standards.

I think you are honing in too much on one attribute. There are umpteen factors that go into attractiveness. Any given individual's combination of said attributes will affect their odd's. An no one is just perfect all around, so every dude will be deficient somewhere in a woman's eyes.

A tall dude who looks like Shrek is not gonna pull more than a short guy that looks like Tom Cruise, for example.

So this graph is just showing the MAX Height (The percentage of inclusion) as in any taller is filtered out. Where is the graph that shows the MIN height?

I'm 5'11", no fukcs given. So the graph is saying a little over 30% of women is filtering out guys any taller than 5'11". I want to see the min graph, the ones that filter out guys not at least my height. It'd be interesting.

No it shows both minimum-maximum heights; percentage of y-axis (height) that is included in the range of acceptable heights for women

Show me the proof. Makes no sense. 90% of women filtering out any guy not at least 6'6". Also, on the graph itself it says "Percentage ofinclusionin filters set". I take that to mean you can't be any taller than this.
