You need to see a physical therapist and your lower back might need surgery. Try a medrol dose pack and PT. If conservative approaches fail you may need surgery. Let me guess you abused the fuk out of it by lifting? I warned you all that you can't **** with lifting weights like you all do or your lives will be permanently ruined. There is no promise back surgery will make you better which is why you need to try conservative approaches as long as you can. Try radiofrequency nerve ablations and epidural steroid injections too. Go see a pain management anesthesiologist they can offer these treatments to you. Do everything you can to avoid surgery if you can because there is a large percent of people that it makes WORSE (and trust me it can get much MUCH worse pain wise until you literally kill yourself). I had back surgery at L5 and it saved me from suicide but it should be a last resort if possible. I tried nerve ablations etc first, but surgery literally cured my back. If you're on the east coast in the US go see Dr. Rodt's at Emory hes seriously the best surgeon and I went to Mayo clinic twice and all the other best places in the country and saw 15+ surgeons and he's the only person I'd let touch my back (SRS).
